"The net impact of this change is that players will now earn 59 Apex Packs from level 1 - 100 (up from 45 Apex Packs prior to this change). All players will be retroactively awarded any Apex Packs they should have received under this new system. For example, players who are currently level 100 will receive 14 Apex Packs when this system goes live."
This concludes it will be retroactive only for the Apex packs that could have been earned up to level 100 under the new system, amounting to a net 14 pack increase.
Nothing was stated about logging in and being higher than lvl 100. Which is why I posted my original post.
I'll take progression goals over loot ticks any day, got all the skins i need.

This is the exact reason why they are finally implementing this. It's one way of saving the dangling player base.

@o-Talzy-o yeah looks like you're right, Lee apparently clarified this on reddit as well.
I figured id just get the packs since im around level 550 or so, and it said something about retroactive implementation.

I'm glad he clarified. I took the wrong interpretation earlier in the thread. Still pleased that I'll get more for my play going forward though.
14 packs is a lot more than I thought I would ever hold at any one time.
