Every singe game only hotdrops and hotdrops where teammates die and leave, die and leave. There is nothing from battle royale and ZERO team-play... so fix it or rename it to Death-match. EDIT: Or ev...

Also there is no way to really stop players from hot dropping now is there?

We can start by adding punishment for early leavers. Devs can also track play-style of players and make squads based on how they play game, not by current nonsense logic. Players who hotdrop and leave early must get some punishment. At least put them in separate squads... more you leave early = you get same type of players, who will also leave early and enjoy losing. I am trying to play BR, but for some reason game punishes me, by giving me 2 hotropping bots.
I could understand if these 2 randoms could kill someone, but no, they just land, die and leave. And it happens so frequently that I simply can't not complain about it. I like this game, but it's not BR anymore... not the same pubs i played 5 seasons ago.

I hear you but punishment in pubs is not a good idea and is not healthy for the game at all.
Here are some things that will help mitigate the problem if not solve the problem altogether.
Find two other players you can play with regularly and sqd up. Wont help when you play alone but works otherwise. Even finding one other player to sqd up regularly helps a bit also.
Play Ranked, players leave less because of the penalty and when one gets to higher ranks, players tend to stay to help protect points, more players tend to attempt to play as a team also.

It can't mitigate the problem, as it doesn't affect only me. Huge % of players play with randoms. And there is reason why i don't have team, as i play maybe 10 days in a season at random time of day (it can be day, or night).
I play ranked, but i play as far as i got in first split = to get animated rank. This split i got there fast so i had to choose between PUB's, or ruin game for other players in ranked (lose points to stay in same tier).
By the way in last game again my teammates left me and hot-dropped. As usually they died in 15 seconds, but one of them answered on question before leaving. I asked, why do you hot-drop and his answer was "if not, then game is boring". Like wth? It's BR game where goal is "to be the last squad standing", but they play it like Arenas with hot-dropping.
Am i only one who sees problem here? @RESPAWN?- Easy solution to fix the Problem: split the teams into 3 instead of 1 dropship and all dropships spawn on the opposide each other and have different routes so ppl will land on more different spots.

I've been saying for as long as I can remember that I'd rather be matched by playstyle than by "skill," whatever random and arbitrary way they may choose to define it. Please give me two cautious and thoughtful squadmates of ANY skill level, rather than a pair of playstation squeakers who think battle royale = team deathmatch.
