Why is the sound for foot steps so inconsistent? Can this please get fixed? There are times i can hear enemy footsteps over teammate footsteps, over gunfire, 50+ meters away and then there are times ...

@MyCanklesHurt respawn has stated publicly they do not believe and will not conduct weekly/bi-weekly updates and that they will focus on pushing out only "large game changing updates". this is why after 3 months there have only been 3 updates. audio has been an issue since launch and was cited by the devs in a post as a "known issue" over a month ago and has yet to be fixed. my honest guess is that you will have to wait until season 2 for any fixes provided that it is even on the agenda for season 2. if not then based on there update stance i reckon it would be till the next season

it states
"The exception here is that we will be very quick to adjust things that are way out of balance (for example, if we released a new character that completely dominates the meta from Day 1, we'd address it ASAP)."
yet the pathfinder hitbox issue HAS dominated the meta and this was posted in march...this doesnt seem to be "ASAP" in my opinion as it is now mid may

@apexistrash08 so this game is going to die, noted, wont spend a penny on it.
@MyCanklesHurt been going downhill for a while. lost a big part of the community anyway. cant see how season two would recover whats already gone. they had a chance to capitalize on the initial hype but they chose to leave the game alone and do nothing. 2 million downloads in an hr and $92 million in revenue during the first month would've had any logical devs coming through imperfections with a fine tooth come...but they choose to NOT immediately fix issues. so imo it will likely be a ghost game LONG before a season 3 is an actual thought
wouldve at least bought s2 battle pass...but im not buying more stat trackers and quips soooo yeah...not buying s2 bp either...also not spending $20 for a weapon skin...
@apexistrash08 ita a shame really apex could have been a good BR game but EA and respawn will see to it that it never improves.
@MyCanklesHurt it really is...had tons of fun in the first week or two. then the bugs and server issues and imbalances if gameplay came to light. had a chance to be a REALLY good game with a REALLY large and diverse player base but slow actions and pigheadedness by the devs have at least quartered the player base. core game mechanics were great and brought alot of players from other games over. but now the features that made apex different have been scooped and implemented by other games. dont misunderstand me...being different is not what made the game appealing. the movement style and gun play style are by no means revolutionary as it can be found in several other games like warframe and titanfall to name off the top...but apex was out for 2 weeks when epic said "hey! people like being able to respawn teammates"...guess what...the next week it was in fortnite...epic saw a interact command for ziplines...1 week later it was in fortnite...epic saw the balloons that allow for redeploy...guess what...1 week later their were gysers that redeploy. everything that made respawn different is no longer unique to apex. they experience massive growth REALLY quick and responded terribly. it doesnt take 2 months to fix a bug. this is evident by how quickly bugs get patched in fortnite. now im not saying they have to follow fortnites update regime with content but they should have at least followed thier patch policy.
there was so much potential to grow this game to unseen heights. the addition of different game modes such as solo/duo/quads/tdm/rumble/capture/ranked/king of the hill and a slew of others could have kept large portions of the now missing player base and expanded them even further. and before some idiot says "you know how long it takes to code a game mode?" here ya go...epic releases at least 3 LTM PER WEEK!!!! the heart of the matter is that the devs stupidly missed the best opportunity to make this game the best it could be.
can it still be good provided ideology changes? YES
will it ever be what it could have been under proper management? NOT A CHANCE
