@Koochi-Q 110-120 ms is acceptable(for me 😛), anything beyond that is just bad. Well, every update is like that so I am not even mad. It's just funny.

@BaldWraithSimp My highest ping game ever (that I could see the ping) was Rocket League... wait wait, not true. Highest ping was Apex BUT I wanted to see how it felt playing 100+ ping so I connected to US servers. My golly... no thank you.

But on Europe servers it was Rocket League when their servers were probably doing backflips or something cause everybody in every match suddenly had 50+ ping xD. I usually play that game with 18-36 ping. You don’t really notice that slight variation if it’s just presented as is. But usually the ping increase comes due to some server probs so you also see packet loss for instance or congestion or lag and coupled with that, ping increase is noticeable.

Apex connects me at 9-15 ping and I can’t say what in-game ping is since the feature still needs some work but yesterday when I played it was 18-36.

Thats usually the average I get in most mp games

@Koochi-Q So I guess when we play I'll connect to you then😂 Do not worry tho, I play on UK servers quite a bit and dont have issue.

  @hayhor Yup, you connect to me and we’ll stomp ps ppl together xD. I also very rarely have any trouble as you know, but even in my 6 hour play since the update went through I’ve had multiple errors, 2 server shutdown and 1 main menu slo-mo xD. So I’ll wait a couple of days...

  @Popa2caps ARE YOU SERIOUS?! You are a gametester? You have my utmost respect... well... hmmm... admiration? Yea, lets go with that. The stuff you testers have to do looks/is so monotone that I couldn’t do it. Constantly doing routine stuff over and over again 🤢. I love gaming but that would turn me off of gaming forever.
  
  Maybe it also depends what kind of tester one is? I can imagine there are multiple... uhm... stages of testers? Like a dedicated alpha, dedicated beta and so forth? But I once saw an episode of a crime show and the culprit was a game tester. The guy they were interviewing to see if a suspect fit the description was the manager of the game testing company and one of the detectives was curious was a game tester does and so the guy answered and showed a lil bit and it looked so frustratingly boring xD

    Yep, I test video games for money. Most tests I get seem to be network related, but some are just to try to play the title to see if you like it.
    It was called VMC back in the day, It got bought out and is now Keyword Studios.
    
    Like you said, It's really not that fun. I think I got into it because I wanted to play Watch Dogs before it came out in 2013.
    These titles you get will have no to limited textures and just run hard with an overlay of your username / gamertag so you can't record it. I guess one can record it, but it's a ban and $10,000 fine lol.
    
    I'm mostly always under some kind of NDA. Most of my titles on my systems just say NDA placeholder, or some generic name etc.
    
    Anyone can sign up to test for video games. You will mostly see AAA titles, but with limited textures. It helps to have a second monitor to watch discord chat for your admin, plus you need to write your feedback into a surveymonkey survey.
