GAME is fun BUT....
So as the title says it's a fun game but in totality it's utter garbage and here's why Terrible servers Super laggy Client side shots Unbalanced gunplay Forced "team play" Crappy audio Unbala...

- Not that terrible considering the huge influx of players since launch. It takes time to upgrade the server capacity or agree new 'long term' contract with the likes of Amazon or other providers.. most likely they have a huge 'short term' agreement to cope with the influx of players, and are negotiating (or building themselves) additional server capacity..all in good time.
- Super laggy
- This ties into your first point, I guess it depends on regions, the server tickrate definitely needs improvement, but, again, all in good time.
- Client side shots
- 100% agree, too many times I've taken damage even though I know I was behind a corner, sometimes it's worse than others, Client-side shots should resolve this difference in Player latency...
- Unbalanced gunplay
- I thought the devs said they specifically wanted some guns to be more powerful than others?
- Forced "team play"
- Well, it is a team game..but I get the frustration of randoms, sometimes they really suck..other times they carry like crazy..depends on the day..
- No solo q
- Compared to PUBG & Fortnite, this is the only game of these 3 where picking a character affects your gameplay. The game, as a result, was built around TeamPlay, everything from the Respawn locations to the buildings, hills & cliffs around the respawn locations...a lot of thought & design went into making this map to be teamplay focused. Don't get me wrong, I want solo play, but with toned down Legends, as some would be downright OP in Solo, IMO. Also, do you really want Solo games where 90% of all Players are Wraith?
- Crappy audio
- Sure it does have very crappy audio at times, generally it isn't too bad, and I have seen improvements regarding this, since launch.
- Unbalanced hit boxes
- They already said they were working on this (can't wait to play Caustic again...woohoo!)
- Nobody uses comms
- With a ping system this good I have never felt the need for it, if I don't feel like speaking to randoms in a couple of games...But the only thing missing for me would be a ping to inform your teammates that you have 300 Heavy Ammo & only a Wingman..
- No matchmaking
- Totally agree...some kind of ranking system or hidden MMR needs to be put in place ASAP, nothing worse than fighting your way through numerous teams, only to meet the last team, die, and realise he's a +5k kills wannabe Twitch Streamer.
- No battle pass
- Already said it was coming... patience. =)
- No incentive after 100
- Agreed, but I am sure they will fill this void soon, with something / but I will say what I told another on these forums, if you really want a good sense of progression, play the Witcher 3 or something..
- Hit reg is iffy at best
- Yeah, it is..
- Clarity on console is underwhelming
- What?
- Muzzle flash on guns makes headshots with iron sights pretty much a guess job
- Isn't that the point? (to be worse than x1, x2 etc..so that red-dots actually have a purpose in this game)?
- Peacekeeper is stupidly op
- Nope...it's strong, VERY strong, but not OP..too many times I see players rush into an enemy with a Peacekeeper, fighting them at point-blank range and wonder why they died..stupid....as for me, whenever I hear a PK in the distance, I deliberately keep my distance so that my AR's are more effective than his PK..which forces him to (choke-shoot) but then his rounds-per-minute is greatly reduced.
- Triple take pretty much guarantees a hit if your aim is close laterally and on vertically
- Sorry, when you say Laterally, what do you mean? Horizontally?
- Map is stale
- I disagree...the map has enough variety and is large enough to keep things interesting for at least another month for me..but I can understand where you're coming from..if you've been playing every-single-day
- Half the lobby dies in first 2 min
- Why is this a problem? As Bangalore says in-game when First Blood is drawn.. "First Blood....RnG's always go first"..This is simply how BR games work, and could only be resolved if the map was 4x as big...but then people would complain about that.
- Netcode is a$$
- As stated before, this is normal considering the huge influx of players in this game.
- Devs are unresponsive
- Completely untrue. I have worked with all types of developers and a lot of the time you want to say something but can't, so things go unresponded and the public thinks they are being ignored. But EVERYTHING is read..
- Xim users not blocked
- Fair enough.
- Spam slide exploit dumb
- Yup, totally dumb.
- Peacekeeper exploit not fixed
- I have no idea why it hasn't been fixed yet..maybe the issue runs deeper (low-level code), so can only be implemented in a BIG patch update rather than a hotfix.
- Wingman still too common for it's op level
- Yeah..it still got issues, too way too powerful IMO, for what it is. The RoF is too much.
- Only 5-6 usable guns
- These are the ones I see as 'usable': R301/R99/EVA8/Wingman/Peacekeeper/Spitfire/Hemlok/Flatline/Triple Take/Havoc/Devotion/Prowler/Kraber/Mastiff... I count 12 in my 'arsenal of APEX weaponry'. And before you respond, I make all of these usable & they help me win games.
