Its very very very strong and unbalanced. But you have other options to play, like you mentioned.
I keep advocating for people who hate the sword to play Ranked, or play Duos. Some people like the chaos so let them have their fun.
Us asking for it to be removed is like asking a restaurant to not serve a certain dish, even though you don’t like that dish and don’t have any intention of eating it— you just want it off the menu.
@Axs5626Sxa this comparision makes no sense. The Apex Menue offers only two main dishes and 2 siders which restaurant offers only 2 dishes ? As a business man I will listen to the customers and if they are not happy I will remove the dish.

Right now the community can choose to play the more balanced, tighter MMR version of trios (ranked), or they can play Duos.
Surely you guys don’t think that everyone hates the current LTM? What you’re hearing is likely the vocal minority of players. And many (but not all) of them were probably the same people who complained about Apex being stale.
So we have a temporary mode that is unbalanced and crazy. Everyone who dislikes this can play the other more balanced mode.
People who enjoy the new craziness shouldn’t be allowed to do so?
