Gifting

This is an idea taken from fortnite, and as much as I hate fortnite they you unfortunately argue with success.

They have (or had I haven't played in a long time) a gifting system where a player can purchase a skin for a friend. Upon gifting an item the sender gets a badge "outlands generosity" with a present on it, and the reciever gets a badge "a gift for you" which has an opened present with a weapon and legend icon coming out.

Now I realize that very few people are going to be willing to part with their apex coins, but at the very least it's food for thought.

    This idea has always crossed my mind, too.  I'm tired of my friends brining our team down with their rare/epic skins while I'm rockin' some B#$tchin' Legendary cosmetics!  If I could, I would throw them some coin to buy some sweet a$$ gear.  You look good, you play good, right!?

    @rloaz34 Not that I want to instill this superstition into others. But I've had two instances where I've gotten a legendary skin and won the very next game I play.

    I was more thinking along the lines of "hmm it's the holiday season, my friends done me a solid helping me win some games and rank up. I'll show some application."

    @DK9027 This is a good idea, I have 1150 coins sitting in my account for some reason, I would love to share them with someone, but I can't, so I am sad. I shall instead buy that new Gibby skin, it is the only skin I missed out on from last year, and I want it so bad.

    @DK9027 buy him some MacDonalds xD.

    You’d make me happier with that than any skin in the game even tho that rev skin is epic!

    @DK9027 I would not mind it. I bought an xbox gift card for an in game friend. One little issue, it was a US gift card and he was in Canada. Apparently he could not redeem it. I found a way to give him a gift. But yeah a gifting system might be kind of nice.

    The only issue I see with it are kids. They can be taken advantage so easily and unfortunately there are people who would. "I'll play rounds with you for this skin" type of thing.. Perhaps if they set it up that kids who are on restricted accounts can't use the feature?!
