So in this game we have 4 gold items below is the order I rank them all in... Helmet Body Shield Backpack (unless you have a Lifeline or a Gibby or maybe even a Mirage at a push) Knockdown shield Personally I think the 2&3 spot could be swapped around but it is very open for debate... I main Bloodhound so having my scan come back quicker and my ultimate charge so much faster is such a benefit to me and my team that's why it is in my number 1 spot.I feel like the body shield is good but I much preferred it when they were quick healers rather than what they are now. I mean you still take less hits than a red shield and the only benefit you have is when using small shield or small meds which I just think doesn't make sense. Why not make them a lot rarer but give them back the fast healing ability that they once had? I understand and like the idea of the gold backpack and do not really have much to say about it, I haven't seen one throughout the whole of this season and have played about 160-200 games already. If you use a Lifeline either yourself or have one in your team then they are great and it makes perfect sense, even with a Gibby it does or with a Mirage where you can heal out of site. I think maybe, if you wanted to make it a little better you could make it slightly revive players quicker? I'm not too sure if this would make it too OP though. And finally... THE GOLD KNOCKDOWN SHIELD for me this is honestly the most pointless thing in the entire game, I think it serves no benefit at all and I will not pick one up, even if I only have a level 2 one I am not swapping it out. The second that you decide to turn this thing on you are just a target and get finished straight away (even though you do in ranked anyway). I think this has to be looked at, make it silent when using it, or at least make the revive half the speed just do something to it... PLEASE! Interested to know if anyone agrees / disagrees with me as well.

@rockyboy1998 I think they are worth it but they have to be used with the right legends.The gold back pack goes to either the LL or Mirage on the time. I also give who ever has the gold back pack the gold knock down shield. Simply because if they manage to pull off the self revive, they'll have health. It is rare to successfully pull it off, but when it happens it can be awesome.The Gold Helmet I tend to give to what ever legend has the longest times on their tactical and ult. If all legends are equal then i tend to give it to what ever legends abilities will be used the most and have the largest impact for the entire team.The gold armor is decent. I tend to give my teammates my batteries and only carry cells/syringes when I have one. That can help the entire team out especially when heals are in short supply. I have also found popping a cell mid fight, especially in close fights can be a deciding factor in who wins.The gold armor also works great with the Sentinel, you only use 1 cell to charge it instead of two.It's really about priority. Those gold items won't win a fight for you entirely, but they can be just enough to shift a close fight into your teams favor.The gold guns I love. I don't have to spend time looting attachments. They are super OP on drop as well. You have a fully kitted gun on drop, while your enemies have no or few attachments. It's a huge advantage on drop.

HelmetKnockdownBackpackBody shieldThe body shield is only useful early game now that it doesn't fast heal, later in the game it needs swapped for a red evo. I disagree on your point about the knockdown though. It's supposed to be a hail Mary, not an extra life. Sure 9 times out of 10 you won't pull it off, but that 1 time you do is GLORIOUS.

@rockyboy1998 Maybe I've just had better luck with it. I also think the situations people use it in are typically less than ideal. A lot of people seem to think it's best used when your squad is all downed so you can pull a miraculous comeback, which is nice.... when it happens.Where it performs much more reasonably is in 3 party battles where 1 or 2 of your squadmates are still up. If they can hold attention you can revive yourself amongst the chaos without distracting another teammate. That gives you the opportunity to level the playing field and get back in the fight. I get the feeling a lot of times that people try to "save" the self revive for when they "really need it". Even if your downed, have 2 squadmates still up, and the fight is over, picking yourself up gives your squad mates more time to heal and reload to prepare for another team approaching.So yeah, while it's not the greatest, I think people would respect the gold knockdown a little more if they treated it like the tool it is and don't expect it to be a miraculous playmaker.

@rockyboy1998 Or give it a cloak like mirage reviving. That'd be alright.

@blkarmphoenix Gold bag plus gold knockdown is the ultimate play for me.

Gold items, are they worth it?

Not as worth it as shooting straight and not getting hit.
That's what I've come to as a conclusion. A gold body shield is even questionable nowadays with red EVO everywhere, and more common than gold. Abilities don't make the game so the faster charge is eh, okay. 1 more shield bar is way better. I'll still wear gold armor but only over purple.

Gold knockdown shield is arguably still the best gold item, though you nearly never get to use it anymore before you are wiped.
After that, certain all the way through gold weapons are great. Gold sniper rifle sights worth it too now that snipers are good. Gold turbochargers...cause they're turbochargers :P
Everything else is fine, but I wouldn't lose my mind over it. Barrel stabilizers, helmets, backpacks...purple is okay, even if obviously gold is better. It's not that exciting to get a gold item so much.

@hayhor I don't really care about being finished or being killed and to be honest because I only really use a mixture of 3 legends I quite like to see other peoples finishers and stuff.

Obviously it can be annoying and it is in a way a player teasing you but its all fun and games, I love doing finishers I don't do them enough.

Yeah, so many people have told me to pick it up it really is just not for me. I will however pick it up if I have a gold backpack now as that seems to be a good strategy.

Do you not think that gold shield would be better to go back to the fast heals rather than what they are now?

You're 100% correct about the gold guns as well they are such a good thing to drop on, especially the Alternator!

That's a good list.
Hear me out on this though:
1. Bag
2. Helmet
3. Shield
4. Knockdown
Here's why.
The bag is 1 because it's universally good to the whole team and anyone who picks it up if you rez a teammate.
The helmet gets second spot because it is more useful for some legends than others.
The shield is 3 because it is outshined by Evo armour.
And, the knockdown gets last, but not least, because it is very much a hail Mary that tends to not work too often.

@KelRiever Abilities don't make the game i agree, but they can be pivotal in changing a games outcome.
We've all seen it lol, that perfectly placed gibby bombardment, lifelines revives changing the course of a fight...you get the drift.
As for the ranking...
1.helmet
2.backpack
3.bodyshield
4.knockdown shield (unless I'm playing mirage then it becomes 3rd in the list)

@rockyboy1998 I'm with you about the knockdown. It's bait and you get thirsted for it straight away. Making it silent would be a nice touch.

For the list I'd probably say: Helmet, Shield, Backpack then knockdown. Always good to have faster cooldowns and the shield so you can heal the rotate back into the fight quickly.

@rockyboy1998 I agree with knockdown..although it's great to be able to revive if your whole squads down, you can't put the sheild up cos they'll know straight away its you &once they know you have no hope..its very rare you have those occasions when you can crawl away to somewhere to use the self revive.

Sometimes I've had gold sheild and they've completely melted it as easy as a purple..so id rather have a gold backpack to carry more health/shield.
