Gold Knockdown Shields: I do not care
Again, to be serious about this issue is way worse than what anyone feels about gold knockdown shields. They are an almost completely useless, but fun, add to the game. If some 'pro' lost A GAME because of a gold knockdown shield, well cry me a river because it does not affect the greater player base of this game to any degree that matters. Change it or not for your pro league tournaments.
But this game needs obvious help in about 100 areas that actually matter to all players, like the sound, connectivity, etc. I feel like the Gold Shield nonsense is a massive red herring to distract from actual problems that cause players who might bother to spend money to instead leave the game. Losing skins is a thing, there's a Horizon skin gone from my inventory and who wants to spend the time constantly nagging to get skins back for their account?
Stop with the obsession of ludicrously small population problems, the Gold Knockdown Shield being the Gold Standard of that massive distraction.
