Gyro aiming on Steam version
Hi,
I am a casual player on Steam version, playing with Switch pro controller and gyro.
Why you may ask. It is because I have hemiplegia that limits my right hand precision significantly.
Pressing buttons can be done with guess and experience, but aiming is another story.
I can use my left hand for both movement and aiming with gyro capability, which is the only option here.
My main concern here is:
Is it a violation of the Terms of Service to use gyro on the Steam version?
If it is, I'm obviously screwed.
HID device is a HID device. It either falls into two categories, analog HID or HID mouse, or HID keyboard.
Which means gryo, joystick, controller, pen pad, etc all fall under analog HID,
And mice fall I to HID Mouse. There's only two types of control in video games.
Your stuff passes through the Windows HID libraries which likely makes it fall under HID analog, and your settings are for a controller in game.
EULA doesn't cover input outside of HID, if your device wasn't HID it wouldn't register In the game. So no your HID - Human input device , is not against EULA.
