Have you noticed the cheaters on console? Cronus zen etc..

With mixtape ltms always rotating now it has become so painfully obvious how many people are using strike packs, Cronus zen etc in console lobbies. It's becoming unbearable to play against them.

Super strafe speed and anti recoil mods are so common now that I find myself raging instead of enjoying the game. I would say 1 of 3 games has someone using one. Most of the time their level is less than 50 but there's quite a few seasoned players exploiting the modded controllers.

Please everyone learn to recognise the signs of people using them and report them accordingly, ea and respawn pls keep working on getting them out of the game and maybe consider a hardware warning like other multiplayer games have been doing.

I love this game so much but I'm reaching a tipping point, I just want good fair matches where I'm beaten by pure skill and not trash players using scripts

    @hbuttersmgee that wouldn't be a very rapud up down left right movement, that appears to take very little damage when fired upon from not too far away with an r99 or a spitfire in deathmatch, would it? Course I'm insta dead.

    @Frosty20203 a lot of the time, it's when they are a super low level, I think a sign apex has been banning some using the mods. I only play on console, so it's easier for me to see the signs as controllers are usually a lot slower in strafing. One obvious sign for me is when they're standing still hipfiring but then as soon as they ads they start super speed strafing with very robotic left and rights, there's no variance in their steps. If I'm suspicious of someone, I check them out on apex tracker, a lot of the time you can see players reaching gold every season and suddenly hitting masters or Pred. Sometimes it's the guns that give it away, the havoc is a really difficult gun to control on console, if they're lasering me from 50-100m away with a havoc that's a big red flag

    Just a little while ago I’m sure someone killed me from behind a bolder. I died instantly from two bursts of an R45 and I had no notice or indication of being attacked. I had been waiting silently there for about a minute waiting for a teammate, who also got killed immediately. I think it was cheating.

    @Frosty20203Not as easy as many believe it to be, even when you scan input of people etc. Something like macros are quite hard to detect. Adminbans are quite rare because there is a high risk of false bans. It’s not enough to suspect someone of cheating, you have to be 100% certain. Every false ban looks very bad for a company

    @hbuttersmgee How do we learn the signs of cheaters? I can’t tell the diff between genuine aimbots and those who cheat. I look at any video of any great, famous player, and it looks they are cheating to me, in that they never miss, they have no recoil, etc.. There should be a server (non EA) where we can upload vids where others can decide if there’s cheating.

    Yeah, Its becoming pretty unbearable, depending on the time of day, it certainly can be every game, but generally on the servers I play on I only find it in about half the games during peak hours and less when it's school hours. I really hope they can do something about it. Fortnite is often banning script controllers I believe and call of duty started banning players after a few weeks of warning about them but were still yet to hear anything from apex

    Fingers crossed it gets better

    Yeah, just reported an Octane on TDM 10 minutes ago. Obvious no recoil. Also had a PC Octane on (at least) MnK in my Gun Run just now. Would've reported the impossible movement, but as I won and had 1 kill more than him, I let him chew on that instead.

    @hbuttersmgeeI think with 1 out of 3 games you are way below the reality my friend.

    When the mmr is high enough you will have atleast one in every single mixtape match

    Not to mention all the people with legit settings that you can’t really notice, or people using mnk with strikepacks and so on.

    it’s just crazy how cheap cheating is on console/controller on pc compared to what you need to put on table for hardware cheats on pc

    it will be so wide spread that company’s don’t even permaban all theese guys, I think it was fortnite that had something against it a while back, and instead of banning theese people they received a warning to unplug it.
