@jumanjaydazedThey have this on console? I had a round with 2 randoms.. I could not keep up with them no matter how hard I tried and I'm a fairly quick player when rotating the map.
I watched them for a bit. It was not super obvious like this and it was not because of sliding/jumping..
- @jumanjaydazed yeah I was not ready to call it cheating on their part. But it definitely peaked my interest, enough that I killed myself and watched them.

I watched them for a bit. It was not super obvious like this and it was not because of sliding/jumping..This is likely just them having better lines. I don't know how much time you've spent racing, but you'd be amazed how much room there is for improvement.
Also, if you're following, you cannot be faster than them since they always take the fastest way to where they decide to go, but you can make plenty of small mistakes to lose a second or two.
