Heirloom Shards Question

Hi there, I believe I have opened well over 500 apex packs. I have purchased a bit over 200 packs and my current level is 319. I was told one was guaranteed at level 500. Has this changed? Did I buy ...

@vestok Howdy! So, the heirloom shards have no connection to your account level. You are guaranteed to received heirloom shards when you open your 500th Apex pack (excluding collection event packs, as far as I am aware), and have an incredibly minuscule chance of received shards from any pack. The guarantee at the 500th pack is built into the game, so if you haven't received any yet, you might be getting close. Unfortunately, there's no way to actually track how many packs you have opened. There is a 3rd party calculator out there though, if you want to put in your info and get an idea of where you're at. For reference, I did not get my first set of heirloom shards until I was well over level 1,000 and had played since launch. Got my shards on the 3 year anniversary of Apex.
