Holiday or greed?

I like that you guys did a black Friday event but it's all money based. You couldn't add some stuff for us to buy with legend coins?? You guys are so greedy. It's supposed to be the holidays and you can't even give us anything? I've definitely spent money on this game even bought the physical copy to support the devs, but you guys are way too greedy. I do get that we don't have to buy anything, but when you say you have a " black Friday sale " and tu sale is bs, way to show us you guys are into the holidays $$$$$$$$

@powerlung speaking as somebody who does have a considerable amount of legendary skins, i can honestly say that the token variants are very rarely that good. I literally just buy them for the sake of using up legendary tokens.
Although i realise its not the point that you're making....you're really not missing much in that regard.
As for there being a better way to use legend tokens, many of us have suggested many great ways to do this,however theres no profit in it for respawn so we'll probably never see anything come of it.

@powerlung It is just plain silly there is nothing to buy with Legend tokens that isn't behind a pay wall or RNG. It is nice to be able to buy any new legends when they launch but we have so much saved that there are probably people with over 100K and nothing to spend it on. With some kind of content for purchase there it would give people reason to play and grind for items for LC purchase.

I got 60K and I own all legends and only usually do my dailies. I bought a few skins that I was lucky enough to have access to through RNG though.

@GRiPSViGiL Same here, I have 100k legend tokens to spend on nothing, already Max battlepass so won't use them rerolling the challenges. They need to add a bigger selection to the buy menu. There are so many skins that they could do variations on but they put them out so slowly. I have over 20 legendaries ( which isn't a lot ) but I've never been able to get the second skin with legend coins because they never have the gun or character skins I have.

And don't get me going on this Black Friday deal, one it's overly priced. Bought the legendary pack and got a caustic kill quip and a Bloodhound skin ( used to be bloodhound main so now I have 3 legendary skins for him )

@MandatoryIDtag Their current method of profit is keeping their use behind a pay wall. Except for the actual legends of course, kudos to them for allowing them to be earned but that is how most games are to expand our rosters.

I have seen cool skins I would have wanted to get but didn't have the legendary. I wasn't gonna pay money to use a currency I earned by helping them fill game lobbies so games can launch. They need to get out of here with that.

More options to spend this currency should be in place. My argument for that is it keeps people grinding and playing and lobbies replenishing.

@GRiPSViGiL I agree, you shouldn't be forced to make a real cash purchases to use an in game currency....it results in a fairly pointless in game currency.
I posted an in depth concept a while back in which players could purchase highly desirable skins on a "black market" themed store. The store would reset on a seasonal basis.
The idea obviously being to give purpose to legend tokens, but to reiterate my original statement, the odds of is seeing some like that a pretty slim unfortunately. ☹️
