Horizon and Ash Lore

We recently got a cool video where Ash and Horizon have a little confrontation.

While Horizon and Wattson are working to fix a power issue in the hospital laboratory, they are visited by Ash, who had come for an update on their progress. Ash claims that one of the Arena locations is at risk of damage by the vines and demands that Horizon and the scientists use their funds on structural engineers to repair the Arena site rather than caring for the sick patients. Horizon, believing Ash's priorities are out of order, loses her temper and challenges this. Soon after, the building is attacked by vines and Horizon almost dies however Ash manages to save her. Horizon, shocked Ash chose to save her, apologises for losing her temper, but Ash claims she only saved Horizon because she is "valuable". Before leaving, Ash states that Horizon's son Newton would be proud. This statement gets Horizon thinking, as she wonders how Ash knew her son's name. However Wattson reassures Horizon, mentioning it was on Pathfinder's statue, as Newton played a part in Pathfinder's creation. After Wattson leaves, Horizon still cannot get the thought out of her head and tries to reassure herself "It was the plaque. That's it. The plaque."

Now, for anyone who isn't a lore buff, the Apex lore community has speculated that Ash is the simulacrum form of Dr. Ashleigh Reid, Horizon's former assistant, a well-known scientist and mercenary as well as a member of the Group that created Pathfinder and saved the energy crisis. If this theory is correct, it would explain Ash's known connection to Horizon, how Ash knows a lot about Horizon (her son's name, that Horizon worked in the hospital 87 years ago). Because Horizon and Ashleigh Reid didn't really leave off on good terms since you know, Reid tried to kill her, leaving Horizon stuck on a black hole, causing her to miss her son's entire life and come back to a world completely changed, if Horizon ever learned this, we may see some Loba vs Revenant mixed with some Wattson vs Caustic action. Because Horizon couldn't get the thought out of her head, she may be catching on.
