And that's the rub. What works best close up will not work best at range. Most players don't really seem to care about a mid or long range game so they choose based on cqc engagements. Personally I'm at default because that's what works best for me at mid range. For me nothing at all works well up close so I stopped trying to find a setting to make it better. It will never be better.
