How did he not die?
So the new recap system shows damage numbers after you die.
Just played solo and did 157 damage to a guy with white armor, he did not die and killed me.
How is this possible?

Thanks for this, we'll keep an eye open for similar reports.
There are a few reasons this could happen, if he sneakily ducks out and pops a small shield, fights near a Wattson Pylon, or hotswapped their armor midfight.
Of course, with any system there could be some bug.
If you record your gameplay, do you have a clip of the fight?
This fight lasted about 2 seconds, both shooting each other the whole time, there was no armors around and no time to heal or switch armors, also no wattsons or any other healing mechanisms around. This was right after drop and we both got weapons and armors and started shooting.

i think that happened to me a few times i wonder if its hit registration?
i will start to record my games again and show any funny clips where the hits are off.
the answer is simple dude, garbage server, trash netcode.
@lBreathTakinglhes got it right, I have unloaded clips into people. its just plane sad.i mean how many times have I heard the armor get hit, and still not break. I die in 3 shots to a dam peackeeper with blue shields unload 40 bullets into this guy and he standing there laughing at me.I have been very close on putting my dam fist into my pc I swear. FIX your servers before you come out with any dam addons.
It doesn't record every bullet exchange, it's a summary in big picture,
so it could be both of last bullet land at same time , so server must decide who die first, it decided you die first (not sure about algorithm),
but since both bullet are landed, it's recorded and looks not right.

@Kukkohullu Glad you mentioned this. I've had some crazy damage numbers that just don't add up where I thought "he's done" only to be killed myself and seen less damage done to me than the enemy. I've also been killed with full purple with less than 200 damage.
I didn't know if this was lag recording damage at belated intervals or what. I also thought my maths was probably just wrong lol.
I'm curious if this is the new feature bugged, or if it's now highlighting the flaws in server performance. I got killed by an R301 in less than 0.200 of a second when I had full purple. The damage showed over 200 damage to me, but in the time it took, that is impossible.
I know I have screen shots of some of the instances saved on PS4. I'll see if I can get them up on here tomorrow.
