How do i become an Tryhard Wraith player?

I played Apex Legends since season 2, however, after an while i stopped playing and switched over to my pc without anything. Now, in most of my rounds i see people playing as wraiths and downing you, 10-30 seconds into an fight with them. Now im interested in how they did that. Do they have some sort of strategy? Maybe because they're on Pc? (Although im playing on PC too.) So i set myself an objective, since i wanted to look like how this whole tryhard thing works, however, after playing 3 rounds as Wraith, i was still as bad as i was before. I still managed to down and kill people but later on other players arrived and i basically was pretty much dead. Can anyone give me some tips and videos on where i can learn what to do and what not to do and perhaps some graphical settings these players use? (Like widened FOV or something.)

  • @BobitsApexbasic tryhard Wraith requirements :
    1. the first and most important thing is, you need to practice every day on how to instantly leave the match the moment you get knocked ( pro ones even leave before getting knocked when they know that it's going to happen )
    2. you need a Kunai ( Wraith without a Kunai is not a tryhard Wraith )
    3. Bald and white head Wraith skin is a must
    4. you need to strafe left and right all the time ( even if there are no enemies you need to do it )
    5. don't ever stay with your team, always stray away and pick fights alone then do the first step ( if you don't do this then sorry ...you are just a normal Wraith).
I hope this will help and good luck XD
    🙂

I didn't think this would blow up. The comments are hilarious and i actually saw Wraiths leaving immeadently after i downed them lol. This post was sorta meant sarcastic but also to gain more knowledge on how i can get better at the game and i chose the whole "Wraith Tryhard" topic because i was thinking that there will be some tips, on which they were. However, although i also sometimes think about leaving when the situation seems meaningless i still dont want to abandon my teamates, nor get an penatly of any sorts. So if im gonna loose, im gonna loose. However, i really didn't know that leaving is a standard for wraith tryhards, so lmao and still thanks for all of your replies.

You'll absolutely need to know the sweaty-est drops on any given map, the ones currently in rotation being Worlds Edge and Storm Point. On SP, I think the best location for this would be Barometer, since it's huge and always seems to have at leas 2 enemy teams there too (Checkpoint and Cascade Fall also seem pretty try hard). As for WE, this means dropping Fragmented E/W at every given opportunity. I swear I have never had a Wraith not jump to Fragmented, so you might as well rent one of the buildings live there.

Additionally, I would recommend cutting out ranked entirely since it takes too long and doesn't really matter to the tryhard until they're gonna be Diamond at least (Diamond isn't good enough, but if you are Diamond you need to grind as hard as you can to hit Master. Master is respectable). QP is much faster to grind, since it doesn't really matter what your team does, just you. Put focus onto achieving your 4K and 20Bomb badges, those might be even more important than a Kunai (although Kunai really is essential)

Also pick up a Wingman whenever available. That is the most important gun for you to be good with, so get your practice in. Honestly, if you can go crazy and be consistent with a Wingman you're golden

Remember, you're pretty much brute forcing your way to greatness, so you just can let yourself get burnt out. Rn this isn't about having fun, it's about letting yourself be crushed until you're nasty enough to crush other people ruthlessly. The importance of cosmetics and achievements is to set your dedication in stone, and show that you are part of a collective that demands greatness from themselves and recognition from scrubs who haven't accomplished what you have. That said, its a lot of work and pain so really not my thing

I urge every Wraith main to at least warm up in the firing range for 15mins before actually joining a match. Remember, practice makes perfect.

Now this is how you apply that in-game.

@Cheese9Man My friend was playing as wraith the other day. Our random 3rd goes down. My friend makes a portal to pull the person out, they take the portal. While I'm downing two people from the other team I hear my friend really frustrated saying "he quit halfway thru the rez" lol
