I Am a solo player. Anyone else hardstuck gold this season

I’ve always been able to solo to platinum or Diamond, but this season it feels impossible. Maybe I’ve just gotten worse at the game or something, I don’t know.  but it also seems like I’m running into sweaty three stacks with 20 kill and 4K damage badges in every fight while my teammates haven’t event even cracked level 100. 

I played ranked only because pubs are literally 10x worse than everything I explained about above.  

almost considering letting my self demote down to bronze just so I can enjoy playing the game again. Which probably won’t even work considering the amount of smurfs there. 

before telling me I need to “git gud” I feel like I’m a decent player who doesn’t have the time to play for hours on end like these younger players do. 

All and all, the game has felt off for me for sometime now, but this season feel like it’s been the most off.

    @Omega_Nes No you're not the problem, i reached Diamond every season soloqueuing and i'm struggling to get out of Gold IV. The new system literally kills the solo player, either you somehow drastically improve or you're going to reach Plat at best (and even that is hard).

    I literally cannot get out of Bronze I mainly am a solo q but really not enjoying this season not even come close to a win. There is not even an LTM to have fun in either :D

    @Omega_Nes Lots of people are hard stuck gold and platinum. There are almost no Diamond+ ranks right now.

    The RP system relies too heavily on placement for it to be viable system at least with the entry costs. Gold IV entry cost is 39RP. Breaking even on the RP requires a top ten placement with a few kills. If you have 4 matches in a row where you don't place top 10 you're going to be losing a ton of RP.

    @chalkybrimanpc This. Still can’t see why control is an LTM while ranked arenas is still permanent for the last 6 people playing it.

    @Cheese9Man I think it might have to do with a lot of the LTM while popular at first kind of fade in popularity. I enjoyed control a ton it was a great place to go when I was struggling. I could die endlessly and get practice in to break bad habits.

    @Omega_Nes Every high player says "If you are stuck in gold in the new ranked system, that's your real rank" which in my opinion is a big BS.

    These changes completely changed the playstyle of the players in a worse way, plus it doesn't favour solo players.

    Still to this day Respawn forces teamplay which lets face it, doesn't exist 99% of the time if you solo q.

    Played 5 games of ranked, never again with these changes, pub's is even a bigger mess now. This game is dead for me

     I don't know about you guys but I came back this season after a couple of months off to pay with a friend that just got into the game. He obviously is terrible comparable to the players that have played for years but yet even in the bronze lobbies playing with him and a random I am constantly matched with masters and fully badged players. How am i supposed to compete with that. I am literally hard stuck in bronze playing with my friend. I am a good player, definitely not a bronze lmao and have 4k badges and what not. But this is absurdity.
