I am platinum, with a .65 kdr, why am i getting matched against Preds?

Every competitive game hits a point in its lifespan where the yawning chasm between the skill floor and the skill ceiling becomes populated by fewer and fewer players. As the number dwindles it becomes necessary for the matchmaker to cast a wider net over the skill range in order to assemble a fast match. Which is a fancy way of saying that while the game has become almost completely unplayable, at least Respawn has enough integrity left to SHOW you just how bad the matchmaking has become. Ranked is bad. Pubs is even worse, but at least in pubs they have the further decency to give the player the option to exit the match when the skill range is displayed, rather than making you wait until after legend selection. Personally I'm surprised that they can get half the lobby to stay in any given match. But I guess people don't pay attention to the graph, don't understand what it means, or are delusional enough to think they might win anyway. TRAIN. WRECK.
