Solved

I can’t play Apex Legends on my Xbox series S

Hey, I have a problem, every time I try to log in to apex legends on my Xbox it lets me go into the menu for like 2 seconds then just kicks me sending this error message. I searched and found other people had this problem, some of the solutions offered were changing your gamer pic to default instead of a custom, erasing the saved data from my profile, clearing my MAC address, unplugging and plugging my router and console. I have tried every single one of these and still get the same error every time, anyone else have another idea?

  • @EmiEdgar Hi, this error usually happens in the PCs and it means that one of the Libraries in the game is missing. Now, since you say you play on a console, I suggest cleaning the console's cache first.

Turn off your Xbox One using the power button on the console, once the console has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the back of the console.

Don't simply unplug the cord from the wall's electrical socket — it must be disconnected from your Xbox One.

The HDMI cable and other connections can remain plugged in.

Wait a minute, and then reconnect the power cord to both the Xbox and the electrical socket.

Wait another minute pass. If you're using an Xbox One watch for a small white light to appear on the Xbox One's power brick (the rectangle).

Once the white light turns orange, you can turn the console back on.

If you're using an Xbox One S or One X, just wait out the minute and turn it on afterwards.

Try to launch the game after that.

I suspect the problem you are having is due to a library file corrupted somewhere. The extreme solution is to uninstall the game, clean the cache again, and install it again.

    Hope it helps!

What area do you play from, what setup does your router have and did your isp do any changes to their routing setup. I had an ISP that started nating my packets in their network and most games said bye bye to me, so I had to change ISP.

I dont know of a link I would like to link to you to help you because most of these do stuff that just wont help you in the long run, but I am sure an official has a good link for the ports and so on you need if you dont have a supported setup with the correct nat and upnp settings for your system. Also remember when your network is correctly set up you can still get messed up by a creative isp so you might need to call him too.

Check your network test on the console to see what nat type youre running and what the status is there, also check your router if its got upnp running before you call your ISP.

  • Hello everyone,

I had a game issue too, i could not start the game on Xbox Series S, because after when i started it, i had to press a A button, it was loading and i got the message: "Unable to connect to EA Servers. Please check your Internet connection and try again. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information."

So after that i checked and did lot of things: for instence restart, then unplugging and plugging my router and console, clearing my MAC address, go to my IP address and add Port Mapping Configuration for Apex Legends (You can configure port mapping parameters to set up virtual servers on the LAN network and allow these servers to be accessed from the Internet.) But these changes didn't help me one bit.

The simple solution, what helped me, was that: I changed my location and language to english (United Kingdom) in xbox settings and restart it. So i just wanted to tell you my experince for helping you.

    Best wishes,

    Zsolt
