Even on day one of the season, I have literally never seen pubs look this bad. I’m intentionally landing and getting mauled to see if that impacts the lobbies. I’m about 10 games in with 0 kills and 0 damage and my lobbies still look like this.Pubs should not play like Masters lobbies guys. Come on now.

@Axs5626Sxa5001you definitely aren't wrong. i've felt the changes too, there's way more diamond/masters trails than before.

And if players are going to be placed into these hyper competitive lobbies, they need to be rewarded for it.I’ve mentioned this before but it continues to stand out in my mind:I have had a few matches that I have needed to sweat and stress so hard for the win (in pubs) that the reward (the “you are the champion” screen) wasn’t even worth the amount of effort and competence it took to achieve the win. That feeling is really not good.

@reconzero Well lets see -1 - Winning a game without seeing anyone the entire match and the last two other teams died in storm resulting in a win.2 - Not getting a single kill or damage point, because your two smurfing teammates wiped the lobby before you could generate a point.... and won the match.3 - Your teammate was a Seer and pinged every legend, where they were and won the match wall hacking merrily along the way, eliminating all game sense.I am sure there are more, but that is just a few examples or when "winning is not enough." At least in my opinion. I am sure you have had matches where you have won, and I just didn't feel very satisfying for whatever reason. Personally, I would rather play well and lose, then any of the above and win.

More proof that something has indeed shifted in the SBMM. 57 games played. 30 Damage done. 0 killsStill landing in lobbies primarily Diamond, Master and Pred. The image shown was my 57th game. Thoughts?

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I never was a fan of SBMM in Apex, but consider some of those might be from season 1, many might just join the game early in the season to test it and then lose interest (so their rank and stats will be low). Let's give it a day or two, hopefully it will get better

@Axs5626Sxa5001 No pred trails for me in the small session I played, which is a first in a long time.
Wondering if it factors in the fact I played about 20 games in 2 seasons into the sbmm algorithm?
Plenty of master trails though which did not do me any favours considering I was rusty as hell and playing no fill. XD

@hayhor This wasn’t partied with friends; this was with randoms, who themselves were masters or preds. So something has certainly been tweaked.

Played about 6 matches this evening & the standard of MM has been as bad as ever, despite I have chalked up 11 kills in those 6 matches things just feel....not good.From what I have seen of the Storm point so far any map changes/additions like the 'Downed Beast POI' look to be on the fringe/map edges where barely anyone lands as it is & the various Armory boxes I've noticed look confined to fringe/map edges as well.In essence the hotspots in Storm point remain exactly the same as ever & the map still remains probably the worst of the 4 maps.I played 2 of those matches as Newcastle & got 3 kills but I just don't see the OP character that many youtubers,players etc claim he was going to be in fact I find him pretty ordinary.For the abilities he has I certainly wouldn't put him above or even on par with Gibby,Lifeline or Rampart (certainly not with her new buffs).
The only positives I've taken from season 13 so far is a slightly better loot pool compared to season 12 what with the Longbow,Flatline & Spitfire (it still feels pretty good despite the nerfs & the barrel stabilizer omission).Has the G7 Scout & Volt still been shelved?.

Volt was very recent in care package, it should'nt be out for awhile, g7 will probably come whenever nemesis drops
