I had a cheater on my team today tell me that they just updated the DMA? Don't know what that means but the lobbies today have been crazy. I feel like i'm in pred lobbies in wildcard, ranked and pubs these days constantly. I don't trust any of the people I play with, we have chinese character names all over the place, there is SO MUCH SUSPICIOUS BS in your game that I feel like all the time I put in to get good is for nothing when some dude just pays for some software/cheat to do what I put my time in to do.

I'm wasting my f-ing life to get better at something that other people cheat at an insane rate. 79% of the top console player got banned, they all have other accounts to play on, and the cheats they use are updated more than the anti cheat. Plus all the people watching them stream and using whatever cheats they can to play like them.

All the cheats by themselves are bad, but now we have RC filters and all sorts of insane mods that aren't even considered cheats. So to actually learn how to aim with my lowly mouse and keyboard is pushing a rock uphill constantly. I don't get any rewards for playing against cheaters and mod users, I get no aim assist, and people on controllers use configs for movement anyways, so why learn how to mantle boost off a zip line when someone just presses a button to do all that c*** for them?

People like Faide made people want to play this game to practice insane movement and skill techniques, but people just cheat anyways so why learn? Your game is so broken and the only reason you still have a player base is because of the cheaters and the people addicted and locked in because they spent so much money on your skins and heirlooms. Agree but the part about Faide...dude I would bet my money that he is / was using scripts for all that. Yes his sense and ideas and speed was legit but all the mechanics that require 100% accurate input sequences...nah man I don't buy it.
When I first saw him do all that + superglide (back in 2022?) I posted here / other forums that superglide needs to be made available for everyone because it is fps dependant + game is not optimized (most are having FPS fluctuations randomly) = can't pull off superglide like Faide be it scripts that lower FPS -> input keys -> increase FPS back or be it hardware that costs 5000$ it is pay to win / limiting mechanics which is not fair. So everyone was either losing by not using scripts or was pushed to using them (actually super easy to make). Same as now with Steam input and turbo tapstrafes, super fast 180s mid air etc. You either need super specific hardware like infinite mousewheel or scripts / turbot input to pull those as e.g. my gaming mouse is limited to 7 mouse wheel inputs no matter how fast I spin it -> to do super fast direction change you need like 10+.
Same with cheats - rarely do I see in Diamond+ lobbies legit players and if I do I can tell right away as our fights are fair or I beat them. Rest just dash into you, predict your peaks perfectly, turbo bunny hop / tap strafe and of course godlike aim. People talk about 79 out of top 100 Preds on console being banned but that percentage is quite sure equally close on lower (Masters -> D4) level with oh so many more players, they just bad enough to lose even with cheats / get stuck below high Masters because their skill, facing too many other cheaters, not willing to stand out too much to be banned (I have a dude from season 9 in my friends list, blunt aimbot, Masters every season but he stops playing as soon as he reach Masters and also does it by playing some legit games where he is bad af aka not gaining 5000 RP per day).
