I have some Japanese friends, so I had to change my server into some Japan's servers. However I hadn't noticed that the Exotic Shards I got while playing in Tokyo or other Japan's serves had a limit of time. That's unfair for some players like me. I had lost 20 Exotic Shards. I need to give them back to me!!!
That's the photo I took about 10 days ago. I should have 60 Exotic Shards, however only 40 in my account.
Agnes-Techyon Certain countries, (such as Japan) have laws that places an expiration requirement on any bought, (and earned), in-game currency, (such as Apex Coins and Exotic Shards), as such, these currencies sadly expire 180 days after they're purchased, (or earned), on accounts living in places where this law applies.
Even though your account isn't registered to be living in Japan, it would seem that by playing on the Japan servers, you were subjected to Japan's laws, (which would make sense, as the games on those servers are hosted in Japan, and thus would fall under Japan's laws).
What this means for you, is that EA/Respawn won't be able to restore any expired currency as a result of Japan's currency expiration law.
Note: I am NOT a lawyer, I just have an idea of how this sort of thing works.
