- @apostolateofDOOM Yeah I have used his stealth to get banners. I will have to look up the hitbox sizing vs wraith as you mention. I did not see it this way but I admittedly do not study things in that much detail. At the end of the day I play the game to have some fun and I find him effective and fun to use.
I like the buff idea you mentioned. I've been in spots where people couldnt use the protection because they did not have heals. - @Wingmannedbro well who the * is gonna shoot him in the legs my homie- kinda ironic if you put it into retrospect that EVERYONE SHOOTS HEAD LEVE 🙂
- @hayhor I assumed as he's 9ft and wraith is like 4.3ft and I'm just randomly throwing these numbers out so may not be 100% accurate :P but point remains the same.
I think having the choice would make him more viable end game and adds flexibility with the amount of meds/shield you currently have.

@WingmannedbroI meant that it is your opinion he is garbage and anyone using him hates themselves 😂Opinions do not exist independent of facts. What's his pick rate in pro scrims?
Actually nobody plays revenant. It's still Path Wraith Wattson.

You get lasered with ease since your hitbox is is webbed. Many shots that should miss will hit anyway.
Ill go see if I can still find the video from way back when Pathfinder had the same problem.
It's hard to imagine now but Pathfinder was actually a very unpopular pick pre season 1 because of that. Virtually nobody picked Path.
When they fixed the hitbox, he almost overnight became the meta pick.
[Edit]
As you can see in the video, the difference is dramatic.
Lots of misinformation going around in this thread.
First off: Revenant needs a buff. That much is clear. But his weakest area is not his passive; in fact, his passives are his biggest advantage.
Where Rev needs a buff is his tactical (Q).
1) is a skillshot
2) deals minimal damage
3) disabling actives hurts some heroes way less than others
4) disabling actives that are already on cooldown is a waste and leaves him entirely open to their abilities later on
Q needs a complete rework
OR
A dramatically reduced cooldown/increased AoE. Its an interesting tactical, marred by execution and circumstance (compare silencing Wraith or Pathfinder to silencing Wattson or Caustic).
Revenant being able to crouch-walk at normal walking speed is huge in combat. It not only makes his hit-box small, but also sharply raises hipfire accuracy and locks it in place while strafing (unlike standing to strafe).
Death Totem is mostly good for safely 3rd partying. I honestly think it should have additional effects - such as granting increased healing speed while it lasts but isn't active on you (think Gabby's dome or Lifelines passive) or maybe just return you with full health & shields.
- @Jinnobi What misinformation is there?
You say his biggest advantages are his passives which are climbing higher and crouching faster but as I said previously there are other legends better suited to get themselves (and their team for that matter) to high ground and his crouch-walk is mostly pointless in a gunfight because 95% of the time you'll be ADS, the majority of the time you hip fire will be at point blank range where sliding will have a major advantage and if you're hip firing at someone more than 5-10m you're doing it wrong.
I agree with your tactical (Q) assessment that an AoE buff with added DoT would make his ability much more useful but buffing his ultimate to give you full health upon return to the totem would make him pretty OP. - @hayhor Here is the issue with the crouch walk.. You go into crouch walk towards a fight.. I'm going to run right by you making all the noise in the world because guess what, I want in on the action. So unless you're flanking or pushing fights solo or trying to grab banners and run.. It's really not that big of a deal.
- @DarthValtrex I typically flank with it or even loot while listening. I crouch walk a huge majority of the time with him. It probably looks silly to teammates. 🤣
@hayhorI will admit, his silence thing comes in handy for people heavily reliant on their legends abilities. Nothing like taking grapple away from a pathfinder and watching them panic.
and yeah probably explains how the revs loot my building without me hearing then kill me.
