I'm stealing this idea from someone in another post, but I think the perfect way to penalize people for leaving a game early is to make the stats not count - no kills, no damage, no wins, no games pl...

This actually encourages stat padding and leaving early.
If you hotdrop and get downed instantly with no kills or have a game with unfavorable kd/a - just leave and try again.
Removing the bad games from your stats, resultung in massive boost in kd/a stats, just what these guys want.

I’ve only ever seen KDA matter in offical Ranked Games tbh. If Apex starts having Ranked games it would almost certainly stop this problem but it would also bring out the elitists 😛
I would get it if this was a ranked game, but it's not... Haven't seen a K/D stat yet, so we should be good. :D

There is no KDA or Win/Lose rate in this game yet. at least we're not able to see. So it wont be a problem. Also to fix this; When he/she leaves the game, he/she is considered dead and count as 1 dead / 1 lose for stats but no kills, damages, xp or any positive stats..
