It’s insanely difficult to land shots, i had a shot lined up on a stationary legend and nothing. It’s almost as though the precision required for snipers has been increased. That would be alright if the sniping guns were one shot kills with very little room for error. But they aren’t... they often require 3-4 shots to down someone.it’s so bad that I’m not picking up sniping guns anymore. They are so inconsistent now I can’t rely on them. it does not seem like a hit registration issue because the animation is not happening or the sound. But it’s almost like you’re trying to shoot at the narrow side of a piece of paper. one of my friends was watching me snipe and commented on just how bad it was.

@MandatoryIDtag It's a strange one, I didn't use the sentinel much until recently, It's not really like the other snipers. You have to think of it like a primer weapon, get a shot with disruptors and then push in with something else once their shields are down.It's especially good against Evo Shields

@GH0STEDbyME Yea, the Sentinel is aesthetically pleasing to use, so I only use it for fun / battle pass challenges.I don't know if it needs a buff to 75 body, so it can down someone with two shots if they have blue armor... but it needs something. A little faster on the bolt action or bullet drop could be the ticket. It's hard to use as a real secondary weapon when squads show up.

@DarthValtrex You been using other weapons lately? Taking a break from snipers and then picking them up again can be a little jarring initially.

@DarthValtrexSorry no. I had a TT and was 400m away from someone on the Mirage Voyage and managed to hit them. I actually saw the bullets arch and drop and bam!I am having problems with the G7 though. It's either a shredder or pea-shooter - very random. Seems especially random against Pathfinders.

Is anyone else having difficulty with snipers?

Triple takes been a little awkward for me lately but I think that's more to do with the fact people are managing to strafe in between my shot spread...which is deeply annoying but hey ho. XD

@MandatoryIDtag It's weird, I have no issue with the G7/Hemlock in single fire. I pick up a longbow and have a difficult time landing shots.

@MandatoryIDtag I have been having such a horrible time with snipers, I was sort of forced to switch to something else. I can be streaky with guns though, go really dominate with a longbow then do horrible with it.

The strafing that goes on is just the new spam crouch. I preferred spam crouch, it was easier to kill people who spam crouched IMO.

@DarthValtrex I'm also using snipers a lot, they feel good to me. Longbow is a beast lately, followed by triple take , Kraber and the Charge Rifle. Sentinel is the only one I'm still struggling with, it just doesn't feel right (seems to kick sideways too often, bullet drops more than expected, there's input delay before the shot, etc.). Overall I've been downing many players with snipers lately, much more than in previous seasons, so they feel OK.

However, when there's a match that's a bit laggy, I can't hit anything. The worst was when I tried to 3rd party some squads with the Triple Take and barely did a 24 damage out of 30+ shots. I'd say that snipers are the most sensitive to lag variations.

@DarthValtrex I've had this with the longbow for awhile now. I can be point blank and not get anything.

@MandatoryIDtag I had this issue. We used to play the shotty snipers religiously but since it's ended I can't make half of my shots xD

Honestly, whenever I use the Sentinel I kinda lose my sheesh missing shots I swear I should've hit. I mean, it's probably just me sucking at sniping, but the Sentinel makes me feel bad when it happens.

Ive been feeling like this has been an issue since season1 Im a player who doesnt spend money in the overpriced apex coins, and as a result I feel like once I get in a winning streak it almost always ends up with me quitting for a while due to the fact that,
Ive felt this multiple times like my aiming is acting like a magnetvbut in the opposite direction. when im friring at a target in a live game it feels like my shots are being pulled away from what im trying to shoot. idk if this is a bug or hack but its extremely annoying.
For context im playing on Xbox One with a standard controller.
