I just started playing it a couple weeks ago. It's the 1st shooter other than Apex I've played in awhile & it's interesting to see the differences.The most noticeable is the player fill & how it actually works if someone quits.But it was also interesting to see how much the game has changed adding a monetary system & BP. The last BF I played was BF3 which I preferred greatly over COD due to it's realism, graphics, & the fact that you can operate vehicles. Giving you characters with certain perks was also an interesting change. I do like it so far & it's a nice alt when I get annoyed with Apex.

@Lord_Scorpion34 On an extended Apex break, 2042 is our main game currently for my bud and me. Much like the last couple of BF games, the game is in great shape after a protracted, terrible start.

@Lord_Scorpion34 I played it a lot when it released. Got to level 50 or so. Then the movement to kill the game got so bad I had to turn crossplay on and I was forced to stop playing.

@hayhor I got ya. That's crazy. I haven't had that experience with crossplay on. I still have PC in my lobbies but my KD is still way above what it is on Apex lol.

@Lord_Scorpion34 The user base is probably healthier now than then 🤣

@pandareno1999 When the game first released I had mega fun running the hovercraft with randoms.

Is Anyone Playing 2042?

@hayhor Wait what? How did movement for e you to do crossplay? I've been doing crossplay from the start. My of is way better on there lol, but again I know these games are totally different.
But Apex could learn a few things. Mainly player fill in non BR modes.

@Lord_Scorpion34 Because I no longer could get games with crossplay off. So I turned it on and the only people left were PC sweats with snipers everywhere.

@hayhor For sure it is, overall. The only severe frustration faced now IMO is that vehicles are still far too plentiful and powerful. They keep making balance changes on vehicles that don't really fix much. Transport helis with reps are unkillable, and ground transport vehicles have no business having the firepower they do.

@pandareno1999 I never play the campaign so it would be nice to have a way to learn how to control vehicles before playing.

I'm worried that if this thread becomes too active, it will get shut down for being off topic to Apex.

Anyway, you can create custom conquest and breakthrough lobbies filled with AI just for this purpose! It's also a handy way to level up weapons enough to get decent attachments.
