  • Dailies and weeklies have become easier to complete while still rewarding the same amount of stars. EXP required per star hasn't been changed. Dailies are also supposedly supposed to reward more stars? Unsure if the changes have been shipped yet.

    @pastaclown

Challenges become as easy as Season-6:

    1. Daily changed yesterday. You can level up with 1 hour game play.

    2. Weekly + 10 BP come next week as a patch

They still haven't give our freedom (XP + 2 level) back yet so you still have to do daily challenges EVERYDAY to level up quickly

  • so it's pointless to play unless you can afford to play everyday? if you can only play every 3 or 4 days, you're f*cked because you still need 50k xp for each lvl?

  • @NaRnIaaa well you know how Respawn is. Trying to increase player retention through crappy Bandaids instead of solving core issues or giving players what they want.

That being said, it's not terrible the new changes, but it definitely isn't good either. If you miss too many days that's a lot of EXP you have to earn manually, and frankly you might not be able to finish the pass at all if you miss too many. It really was a lot better the old system where I could power-level 10 levels in 2 days on weekly reset, then slowly earn 2-4 more levels over the course of the week if I desired.

We have 11 weeks remaining, so if you can do:

    1. 7 level per week  = 77

    2. Free BP               = 10

     -------------------------- ----- +

Yeah , still fall short.  87

To make it, you need :

    1. 9 level per week  = 99

    2. Free BP                = 10

     ----------------------------------- +

                                       109

    So you need :

    1. 3 level from daily challenges

    2. 5 levels from weekly

    3. 1 level from XP.

It's possible but barely made it, assuming you don't take family holiday from the game every week for straight 11 weeks.

@pastaclown"It really was a lot better the old system where I could power-level 10 levels in 2 days on weekly reset, then slowly earn 2-4 more levels over the course of the week if I desired." exactly

@asukojo"To make it, you need :1. 9 level per week"  not doable anymore with this new bpass

  • @NaRnIaaa it is doable, but you have to put in way more consistent work than before. A lot of people liked that they could freely ignore the BP, play for fun and still complete it, and a lot of people have mirrored the statement that they play Apex to play Apex, not finish the BP. Now the new system is looking more like you play Apex to finish the BP, grinding objectives first rather than have fun.

I really liked the old system better, especially since I haven't consistently had a good time with the game. Getting a bulk 10-12 levels in 2 days and being able to freely ignore or play at my leisure was a much better system than being forced to play every day for an hour or two at a time just to make sure I can complete the BP on time.

  • After finishing my weeklies, I've done 2 levels per 2-3 hours of play without sweating that much (I'm way below 1 kdr this Season). You need to factor in the XP boosts from the BP and from playing with friends that also have boosts. In one match I gained like 6.5K XP, while mixing premade with solo queue gives me an average of over 2K XP per match so far.  Also, there are some stars included in the treasure chests, while the "Collect X Crafting Materials" task can also be done in the map preview mode.

Some of the dailies and weeklies are so easy that it's practically impossible to not complete them in 2 hours of play.

    - Play 2 games

    - Play 2 games with X

    - Survive 10 minutes in one match

    - Deal 200 damage in one match

    - Deal 2000 damage

    - Survive 45-75 minutes

    - Open 15-25 loot bins

    - Collect 150-400 Crafting Materials

    - Outlive 250 0opponents

    - Deal 125 damage with X weapon category (usually shotguns).

@DoYaSeeMe I usually reroll one of my dailies to make it easier. But hey at least I have a use for red tokens now!

@pastaclown"than being forced to play every day for an hour or two at a time just to make sure I can complete the BP on time." yeah, well, good luck, i won't play 2h everyday to complete the bpass, especially with so much content coming on hs
