I just found this cool new in-game overlay app (it's been a while for other games) for Apex, it has trackers and can auto clip your matches.
But can anyone or the devs confirm that it's safe to use?

This twitter page's pinned tweet is the announcement of the Overwolf Tracker, so I'm going to assume it's alright to use. Page has got 7k followers, so it's probably legit...?

So I would stay away from this overlay app.
The game already provides a bit of tracking information.
If you want more tracking tools, why not make it into a suggestion 😉

It had another icon on the EAC website that's why I didn't recognize it.
Well if it's on the list, it's safe to use.

I think this app should be blacklisted.
One problem I see is that it shows you the number of players even when there are less than 11. Solos and duos are greatly disadvantaged in the final rounds if their enemies know there's no one else to rotate or ambush them.
Another issue is that it shows many details of players, allowing those that want to cheat by teaming up to find each other much easier. Also, seeing the extra stats may encourage toxicity like bullying and avoiding fights, camping, hiding or leaving the match early because remaining opponents are too strong.
I'd also forbid the server from allowing apps to take or publish any data from ongoing matches.
