Is Ping actually factored into the matchmaking system?

So yeah as above in the title. Getting a little fed up of being shot through cover lol. I've developed a weird tick where I count to 5 everytime i step into cover during a gunfight...and i had one ...

@DoYaSeeMe Is this why I see 24 to 30 ms ping in lobby but anywhere from 30 to 55 in game?

@hayhor Yes. It's about the same in my case, lobby is 30-40ms on average, while games are 55-100ms.

@DoYaSeeMe Ok that makes more sense now. I was wondering why my ping would double sometimes in game. Is there a way to see what server is being used in game?

  @hayhorY u can there a lot of third party software in windows os but sadly most of them are expensive.
  Still sometimes apex throw u in another lobby if they struggle to find decent amount of players in my play time experience.

  @hayhor Not really, as ip's can differ. Also, if you're on London and teammates are on Frankfurt, it's still possible to play in another data centre, which might not even be mentioned in the list that we can choose from.
