Is using a custom crosshair via ReShade allowed?

I´ve seen multiple people on YouTube & other platforms say that it is allowed but I don´t want to risk getting banned, I wonder if tagging @Zeelmaekers still works?

    That's a difficult one to answer, from what I know Reshade was allowed but custom crosshairs aren't.
    So I don't recommend using them as I've also seen players getting a 2-week ban for using them.

    I think better safe than sorry is in place here and not use the software to have a custom crosshair. 🙂

    So I don't recommend using them as I've also seen players getting a 2-week ban for using them.

    I think better safe than sorry is in place here and not use the software to have a custom crosshair. 🙂

    Curious how would they detect a crosshair on a screen but not be able to detect Xim or chronus? I personally do not see the harm in the monitor given crosshair it serves no purpose out side of aiming more of actually a hinder. While I am not saying you wont get banned I just dont see how its not third party software nor does it grant a advantage over other users. In fact I know a few disabled people who can only use this feature as the in game one is not good on their eyes despite there being color blind settings. Most monitors even come with this setting pre built with no installations or downloads required.

    I don't know how they decide it but i got perma ban because i use a playclaw app which is basically a capturing program.

    So sad about their decision.

    If ReShade is fine.. That will be another hilarious moment for me. haha.
