@Koochi-Q Nothing against apex specifically honestly. Just not a fan of night mode in games in general. I dislike limited visibility, and having limited visibility be a core component of a game/mode is a pretty major turn off in my book.
For what it's worth... I started Apex right before S3. I played maybe a dozen games on KC before the switch, so the map nostalgia simply isn't there for me. With that being said, I am curious about things like the candles in the buildings and things I remember being in the Shadowfall event. Were those there originally? If not (I assumed they weren't and that it was a Halloween motif thing) then this also feels like potentially the most "recycled" event of them all. Like they took the Halloween event and just flipped shadows off and full squads on.
I would have liked to see a true night mode, sans Halloween decor. If the decor was there in the first place then I guess that's a moot complaint. But frankly if they really needed a night mode I think I'd have preferred if they just put Shadowfall back in.
