Kraber Head Shot - How much damage?

I was engaging an opponent. It was Krager v Krager (it was glorious).

I hit him once - 140

He hit me once - 252

I go into the firing range to see how that may occur.

Krager on center of target - 280 (okay, 252 is possible...)

Krager on bot body  - 140 (makes sense)

Krager on bot head helmet - 189

Krager on bot face - 189

Where does one get shot that yields 250+ damage in a single shot by a Krager?

    Hey Green,

    first: It is "Kraber", not "Krager". 🙂

    The damage taken from headshots is affected by the helmet you´re wearing.
    I therefore assume that your opponent was wearing a purple helmet while you had none on your head (or only a white one).

    this was nerfed also due to ALGS player complains. therefore devs implemented the Helmet buff (189dmg on a headshot against a purple helmet) so if they would have, my math not mathing, white/blue helmet, you would downed them https://omegle.onl/ .

    So had I had a purple or gold helmet I would have not been knocked?

    that is easily remedied next time I play.

    Please be aware that Ramparts wall can amplify the damage from a Kraber, also if you have been marked by Vantage then the Kraber will also do more damage. 

    For an even bigger double whammy get marked by Vantage and then hit by a Kraber shot Amped by Rampart.

    @MrGreenWithAGun This is the one pro change that I didn't and still don't like. A kraber headshot needs to be a one shot knock no matter what helmet and shield the target has.

    You do not go far enough with this. A Kraber headshot should not just knock you down but BOX you as well, no matter what armor and or helmet. .50 Caliber.
