Legend Concept: Stockpile

Name: Stockpile

Passive: Expanded Storage:
S.P. has two additional bag slots in addition to any backpack added, as well as one additional special item slot.

Tactical: Pack Smack:

S.P. swings his backpack in a melee fashion dealing 40 damage with knockback and brief slowdown (plus 1 damage for every 2 bag slots filled for a total of 10 additional damage)
10 second cool down (plus 1 second for every 2 bag slots filled for a total of 20 seconds.)

Ultimate: Storage Cache:


S.P. can mark any death box as S.C. all items within the box will be replicated and saved until another box is chosen or until ultimate is used, if no box is marked items inside the box will be randomly generated, when ultimate is activated S.P. will pull out a death box containing items.

  • @TooNofDooM13 Nice concept but I got some stuff against it. First: passive is too powerful, I should be limited to ammo or Granades but not heals because it would be broken. Second: Tactical is more of a Assault legend more than a Support.

    And can you simplify the Ultimate, I couldn't understand what you meant, my bad.
    Apart from that, good concept it has potential [and nice drawing by the way].
  • I have been away from this for quite the minute, I do appreciate your response.

    I stand by the Passive as it only increases the base bag slots by 2, plus one more special slot (heat shield/respawn beacon slot)

    The tactical I would still include the damage buff based on slots filled, but I would take the damage down to 35dmg with no items and up to 45dmg full bag (maximum being if the bag was purple or gold)

    I did revise the ultimate a bit.. to put it simply, if you come across a death box you are able to store it, if you activate your Ult then you drop the box on the ground.

    There are a few details to work out if no death box is picked up.

    but the way I see it is if a teammate gets boxed you could recover their banner and pick up their DB, once respawned they have everything they lost

    Or you could store a DB full of goodies (body shield, ammo, heals etc.) And drop it in a pinch for a shield swap or whatever the box may have for you and/or your teammates.

    Back to the Passive, it directly correlates to his tactical ( assault like though it may be) it does encourage teammates to allow this character to have the better bag if they come across it (should they feel so generous) like giving Newcastle a gold knockdown for example, it could be more beneficial to the team if he could throw out that extra damage.

  • @TooNofDooM13Swinging a bag sounds incredibly underwhelming. 

    The attack which scales of items in your backpack could be interesting, and I kind of like the damage vs. speed aspect of it.
    The backpacks changing also affecting damage/charge I'd presume?

    I'd also experiment with range and possibly arch of the strike.

    No bag @ 10+2 slots = 40-46 damage 10-16 sec charge. 160° over 1.6m
    lvl 1 @ 12+2 slots = 40-47damage 10-17 sec charge. 165° over 1.7m.
    lvl 2 @ 14+2 slots = 40-48 damage 10-18 sec charge. 170° over 1.8m.
    lvl 3 @ 16+2 slots = 40-49 damage 10-19 sec charge. 175° over 1.9m.
    lvl 4 (Gold) @ 16+2 slots = 40-49 damage 10-19 sec charge. 180° over 2m.


    *Edit: The time added does not reflect the damage increase here, so running a light pack would probably be preferred. On the other hand, it makes it more valuable since you have less stuff to rely on.

    While it could be powerful dealing 49 dam to everyone in a 2 meter half circle infront of you, it will like not be used that often that it is super op, not sure though.

    It's just the "swing a bag" that sounds really crappy to me though. Maybe if he has something that he uses to fill the bag or some tech to replicate the death box... something that is weaponized with the tactical.

    Also, replicating a full DB can be very strong. Compared to lifeline it is just waaaay better, especially if you go with the random stuff if you havent copied yet. Compared to Loba it is closer since while you can only take two things + ammo on hers', but you might not have the things your whole team wants.

    TL:DR: I like some of the ideas, but the style of the char seems very lackluster. Needs repackaging.
