@CCbathwaterI'm admittedly a LL hater but this change is bad for everyone. I realize they like to test things but this just doesn't make sense. And it's confusing. I've been cracked so many times and forget to shield heal.
The only positive is you can charge a sentinel now.
I don't know.. I kind of like the change. I'll have to play more to get a better feel for it, but from my matches last night, it was an improvement for me. They seem to have drastically reduced the delay for the regen, so my health was coming back almost as soon as I was done taking damage, and a battery only takes 5 seconds to pop, as opposed to the 8 seconds for a med kit, if memory serves me. I pretty much always pop a batt before I use med/syringe in BR, so I'm just more used to using shield items in combat. I was having fun with it last night. Even the Octane's that just want to stim all over the place now, are just hindering themselves with a reduced HP pool, and are easy kills, since the regen isn't quite fast enough to keep up. Had a couple of them trying that nonsense last night, and it didn't work out very well for them, Lol!
One thing I didn't think to test last night. I wonder if you use LL's health drone in tandem with the base regen, will you get boosted health regen speed? That could be pretty nifty, if so
