Even though I don’t want loba to be only known for black market. I have an idea. What if lobas black market doesn’t use up a slot for shield cells and syringes? In doing so we could boost her as a support hero, teammates can now get the heals they need. I mostly think that small improvements to make the bracelet less clunky to use is more helpful. But I do wonder if this is a good buff albeit strong on paper. Thoughts?
I mean when the ammo buff was made it did sound powerful. But as we saw it only made her slightly better. Your only really getting the shield cells and syringes faster. Her bracelet is still clunky and on a high cooldown. Along with that you still have to use the shield cells and syringes which take time to use , time where you are vulnerable to opponents. You aren’t guaranteed shield cells or syringes just like you aren’t guaranteed ammo. I think this isn’t needed. But neither do I think it’s broken in practice.
The general consensus is that loba is in a weak spot. The devs do want to make her better it’s just that buffing her tactical without making it too strong is challenging. Let’s not forget that it’s a clunky ability on a 30 second cooldown. That is what’s really holding her back as being a viable legend.
While I don’t doubt your experience. I’d also say that loba as a hero is agreed on that she isn’t on a good spot. Just because you feel like you saw many doesn’t mean much. Your personal experiences can’t be the only factor that determines a hero viability. I don’t see many lobas and thus I could say that she isn’t good. It I’m not saying that. More so she can be better. She needs a small buff to her tactical and she’ll be in a better spot. I made his suggestion in wondering to see how it would be if added.
I don’t think that’s how it works. I mean I don’t hear anyone taking all the ammo in an area. Your backpack already has limited space. And that’s assuming an area has the specified items. And also the ammo thing sounded broken to many but last time I checked loba wasn’t meta. Maybe and this is crazy but maybe just because it sounds op on paper it doesn’t mean that in practice it actually is. I mean we’ve seen what happenes when you try to take all the ammo in an area. It has limits and will end up just reusing the ammo that you took.
@Ghostdragon669A good loba would get into a mid range fight and wear her opponent down. That's what a lot of fights on this game come down to. Keep poking til you realize they cannot heal.
The biggest reason most lobas have a low win rate is because the people picking her are not good and they are not team players. I hate when I get a loba on my team. They are as selfish as octanes and ttv wraiths.
Theoretically speaking yes. Will that happen the majority of the time? No. Just like the ammo one. In the end you can’t get rid of all the heals or ammo. Their are limits and even then even if you took all of it your not guaranteed a win. It’s more complicated then that. And that’s not to mention that this doesn’t translate to med kits, shield bats, or Phoenix kits, which have a higher impact. And you are given a limited range on her ult which means that if you place it too far from the items then you’ll not have access to those items. Not only that but the ult can still be destroyed. Thinking that in such a narrow view point isn’t the best. And also let’s not forget that if the enemy team also has. Loba it’ll be a never ending struggle of getting everything which as we know has it’s limits.
