@Abyssloli Thing is: Bloodhound and Crypto aren't weak. They are probably the most powerful non-meta legends. The problem is, that they are out shined by two things.
1 - The need to have mobility on your team. Always. That's why Octane isn't being played. his jump pad sucks. And why you need a wraith/path on your team.
2 - Gibby existing. Yeah, Gibby needs a nerf. He is just a chonkier lifeline now. Lifeline would be fine, but she isn't because Gibby literally does fast rez better than her, and gives his team faster heals.

I just don't get it. Which noob is aiming at peoples legs anyway, i don't even notice the reduced damage for legs shots on non low profile legends, sure as hell not gonna start shooting low profile legends in the legs.
Wraith and her chums have had the last laugh for 4 whole seasons. Now it's my turn.
- @MandatoryIDtag You don't aim at legs, you aim at a moving target 70 meters away ofc some shots are gonna hit legs.
And there are situations where you can only shoot legs, like when ppl are door camping or crouching behind fences, but i guess you didn't think this through.@Abyssloli You're right i didn't think this through at all. *eyeroll*
Because people who don't use recoil control when aiming ADS ( despite the natural climb upwards on the bulk of weapons) are going to spray a low profile legends legs with bullets.
We all find ourselves constantly hiding behind fences where our legs can be shot in every match.
As for door camping, if i see somebody camping a door i'll definitely just aim at their legs and not bother to throw a grenade. 😛
Yes your scenarios are valid to a certain extent however they're highly situational and the bulk of gunfights in apex just ain't fought like that lol, hence my original statement.
It's a sucky nerf yes, yes it will decrease TTK on these legends.
It's also the direct result of people complaining about getting melted by small hitbox legends crouch spamming their way through gun fights, so any grievances should be directed at the community for creating so much pressure on respawn to implement this as crouch advantage mitigation lol. 😛
- @CrazyPlays54 Lifelines ult needs to replaced. The care packages are great until your team has purple armor.. after that they are fairly useless. What makes it useless, I have no issue getting purple armor, scopes or meds from normal game play.
The only other way to use it is either as bait or for cover.. if you’re in an open area and need something to hide behind drop the package.
My biggest rub with this nerf to wraith is that it’s made it extremely easy just spray at her now. You can basically just strafe, it does not matter if half your bullets hit arms/legs.
Another example is when your sniping and mid range, i’m really good at moving side to side.. and still being able to land body/head shots while doing this. When I would do that people would miss a lot of shots or maybe just glance an arm. That was not a big deal because it would do less damage.. mean while I’d be landing body/head shots and ultimately win the snipe off. Now it does not matter unless they are a really really really bad shot.
