LTMs are a Cheat Fest

Question

Who told EA it was a good idea to make Apex cross-play? Like, why in the hell would you allow PC players to play in the same lobbies as controller players. Dude my whole team was literally all controller, and all the others were M&amp;KB. Dude, the foolery I've seen on PlayStation tonight is unbelievable. It's like they're not even trying. Seems like a bunch of wall hacking is going on, because they knew exactly where I was as soon as the game respawned me in a whole other spot in Gun Game. Like, how would you know where the game is gonna respawn me at!? Strike Pack ain't nothing compared to the cheating I've seen these PC players do tonight. Scripts galore. Nothing but rapid fire mod, no recoil, fast reload.... I literally saw a PC player moon jump in Team Deathmatch and bounce around on air, completely turn around, snap on to me and kill me within a split second. I looked at the death highlight of how he killed me, and it said he dealt over 176 damage with a Mastiff.... So, in less than a second, I took 2 shots to the head from a Mastiff!? U can't tell me these people aren't cheating. I'm getting really tired of this. I like Team Deathmatch sometimes, but the way these players tryna act like they're invincible really makes the game unbearable and unplayable. I really don't know any online shooter alternatives for 33 year olds.

I know what you mean, but that still feels to me like something that would necessarily be true in an arena shooter, but not necessarily true in a battle royale. Or at least I would like for it to not be true.I feel like those times where I witness brutal aggression from other players is where I get a real sense of cheating. It's always a combination of border-line physics breaking speed, border-line aimbot-style accuracy, and border-line recklessness. Well, the recklessness I get. People are not very bright, especially in a game where they don't see death as a negative consequence of their actions. Only as the absence of positive consequences. Still though. Even with an aimbot and two solid squadmates... why wouldn't you just get good position and wait for them to come to you under compromised circumstances? Why is everyone so impatient?

Online PVP games have always and will always have cheaters on them.

I feel your frustration as PC MnK player. Only way to avoid it is by going offline or playing PvE.

As a relaxing shooter alternative I have personally played Wolfenstein series games and Fortnite bot BR.
Even if I fail over and over again on Wolfenstein nightmare difficulty it still doesnt do the same damage to my mindset as Apex does with the current MMR/SBMM.

I guess I expect the system to be fair with the MMR/SBMM and therefore get disappointed.

Having said that I still come back to Apex for its just that good game in general.

Should there be a bot mode in Apex I would consider it a 100% win. Dont really understand whats stopping it since there already is one but its only for new beginners.

I've done only ltm to level up my whole battlepass the 3last season and i've never encountered a blatant cheater in there , might have supsicion for one or two cronus but not sure.

LTM don't have SBMM tho , so you're probably just against real player instead of the usual bot lobby in pubs.

Yes, Mixtape is so much fun now. At least I get to test various report options, that I never did before, other than reporting for no recoil and the occasional movement infraction.

I had this fun game on Friday. It was my first game of the day.
