@izcormvasha Matchmaking in Apex has been completely broken for a long time. It got especially bad in Season 20 but was pretty horrible before that, too. They will not ever fix it.
Interestingly, I came back to Apex after two seasons and after a week I could 'boast' a KDR of 0.5. Then I had a real purple patch, constant 4, 5 or 6 kill games until I was back to 1.0. But as soon as I hit 1.0 I got stuck, mainly because my standard of random TMs (I solo Q) went down the toilet.
@FuseDLuffyI just played a game in the new mode (revive or whatever). Felt it was a bit unbalanced. Team mates seemed to be doing well. Me no so much. They each had 12 + kils and 2500+ damage, I think I had a few kills and 700 damage. How on earth does this lobby exist? I should never be playing with/against these guys. Just shouldn't happen.
I love this game to bits as I think it's brilliant but please... just don't give me a game if it's that unbalanced. It totally sucks to just be a KD pill/fodder. I'd rather not play than have that over and over. Please. I think most of us would be fine with doing something else if it's that 1 sided.
i just drop kd from 2+ to 0.7 It says a lot on how matchmaking work these past few season. And they not fixing it.
