Well, I'd love to see Lifeline become a legend that isn't useless most of the time, but with Wattson's current sorry state I just feel any sort of auto shield regeneration would be an indirect nerf to her. Just as I used to support the thief Loba could break into Lifeline's blue bin compartment, as Loba needed a little and shield-rez Lifeline could live with sharing it, but atm Lifeline literally has nothing to spare in her kit. I just don't get why she couldn't have her little shield tbh. There's this guy, with fortified, gun shield, who's got a fully covering dome shield, that can launch a deadly rocket attack, while he fast rez inside the dome, and people claim Lifeline was broken. Get outta here! If anything, it would've made sense that Crypto's drone could break her shield, thus buffing Crypto and give a counter to Lifeline's drone rez, beside nades, shooting him again as soon as the shield went down, or shoot the drone, or push him, or... But yeah, that ship has sailed. But something needs to be done.
@CCbathwater As someone who plays Wattson quite a bit, her shield charging is pretty useless. After a fight if you are safe you may safely charge a cell or two up if nothing else kicks off but it is *SLOW*. They should make it as fast as Octaine's Health Regen to have real value.
In my humble opinion, the balance between legends has really got out of whack. I was playing Seer the other night and he's still pretty powerful. His ultimate charges fast and it gives you tons of information. Who else has an Ultimate that is comparable? Some of them are really really weak in comparison or highly situational.
I'm not really sure how to fix that but there are many legends that could use a buff to rise up to the level of some of the others.

- @RockDokRock As a Lifeline main all I have at this point is saying "well, at least I'm not a Wattson main". 🤭 You can't encroach on Wattson's kit with buffs to other legends at this point. The proposed Lifeline shield-up sounds way faster than Wattson's regen. It'd just be another kick in the face to Wattson, who's already down and almost out.
Totally out of whack. And the fact that they release Seer "strong" (i.e. gamebreaking) while some other legends are in the sorry state they're in... I just can't.
At this point I'm just waiting for them to introduce a legend like Moze from Borderlands 3, who can summon a mech which can be outfitted with a nuke launcher that literally kills all enemies (or at least severely cripples them) in the vicinity.@CCbathwater I'll bamboozle it with Mirage.
Yeah, it's pretty unbalanced. I play mostly Caustic unless I'm grinding an objective. Sometimes Wattson. Fuse because he's a bit of fun (and old like me!).
Frustrating to be continuously outclassed though. I wish they would just stop catering to the Run'N'Gun crowd and make different playstyles more effective. Problem is "ThE pRoS" and "CoNtEnT cReAtOrS" will all cry about it and it'll get nerfed again. I mean, who cares about the other 99% right?

@RockDokRockCaustic is another one I never really understood why it was needed to hard-nerf. Was he annoying? Yes. But he wasn't really that op, except for maybe ult'ing the final circle and stuff, but with that closing so slowly nowadays that's not really a problem. People just needed to like not push a house with 6 Caustic traps in it. Tbh, I've never really complained about legends or guns being op, except for Gibby, as again the issue is he can do too many things, and most things he can do are extremely powerful compared to other kits in the game.
Totally agree. Why make defensive legends if you then deter people from playing defensive by nerfing all of them, except for Gibby of course, but he's not defensive the same way as Caustic or Wattson.
I'd hope I know how to play Lifeline, considering how I've probably spent thousands of hours with her. 🤭
@CCbathwater Well for what it's worth I'm always happy to see a Lifeline in the squad. Especially if they, you know, use their abilities. Nothing more frustrating than being in rough shape, asking for health while you hear "Mosambique here".
