If you have achieved Masters & up within the last 3 seasons you shouldn't be allowed to play in lobbies ranked below diamond. The amount of Masters I'm getting in GOLD lobbies is ridiculous!

@Lord_Scorpion34 Masters are the worst griefers of all Apex, they are supposed to be like 1% of the whole player pool but you meet them everywhere all the time, they use multiple smurfs to grind all season long. This is the reality, you can see them ask for players on facebook groups saying this is their smurf they want to take to Master.So you start your grind they kill you repeatedly in the first weeks of the grind because we all start bronze, then weeks later they still repeatedly kill you on their smurf account helping friends cutting your grind to a halt, then at the end of the split they still are killing you in every game on their 3rd smurf. I know because I hear from Diamond player friends who are actually Master skilled and they all have 3 accounts they keep grinding.This is why now I don't even believe there is a MMR matchmaking... matchking is just some balance algorithms according to rank, any player in your rank you will meet him no matter your MMR, this is the reality. Which is the only way it can be abused; having very high skilled players playing on alternative accounts from bronze to diamond rampaging us everyday in everygame.This is the biggest problem for us. We have been talking about this for years. But stupid youtubers like Jmeyels will not talk about this but only about how recolors are bad and how any pro demand is justified.

@Lord_Scorpion34 I've always said they should restrict how far people drop more. The issue with this is people would climb too fast and that hurts retention. Plus people would just make more accounts.

@hayhorYep. I don't play ranked for this reason.But, as an aside, regarding MM - Predators/Masters should *NEVER* be in some lobbies. It just shouldn't happen. Maybe it means it is hard for them to find a game but... not my problem. I am tired of being a KD pill just so they can get a game. It just makes a miserable experience for the majority of people there. I've said it before, I'll say it again; I'd rather *not* get a game than get a game full of people who are just going to stomp the lobbies. Just a waste of time.But there is a trend I've noticed. At the beginning of a season and end of a season the lobbies are dominated with these sweats. Just avoid those times. When it gets towards the end of a "season" most casuals have got he BP and are taking a break so the lobbies are just full of sweats. The game is unplayable then and there is little MM can do about it... if it's 90% sweats then that is probably what you are going to get. Just don't play it at that time. I don't see a solution to that as the MM can only work with what's in front of it. As I said above I'd rather it just came back and said "sorry, I can't find a reasonable game for you now; try later". I'm fine with that. The alternative is I quit anyway and I've wasted my time and I feel like I've been screwed.To be fair, for the most part, I've felt MM this season has been the best I've experienced in a long time. But I fret that end of season sweat fest will start soon and I'll have to stop.

So any account that has Masters badges from those seasons should not be in Ranked Matches under Diamond.Smurfs are gonna happen. But smurfs shouldn't already have the badges so it is what it is. I just don't want to see actual Masters & pred badges in my lobbies.If we have the player base everyone is saying, Masters & Preds should be fine playing in Diamond & above.I shouldn't be seeing them every game in Gold.

@RockDokRock Yeah, it's begun. Just played 3 games. Instantly dead (nobody misses) when spotted. Just quit. I want to play but there isn't much point when it's like that.

@Lord_Scorpion34 Smurfs are not necessarily brand new accounts, the game is over 5 years old most people have created smurfs and continued to play them now they are lvl 200 and more and they do have Master badges.

Your solution doesnt solve anything they would just stop grinding their alternate accounts to Diamond 1 and still play against us at will.

@Lord_Scorpion34 The other way to stop them from playing against lower skilled players all the time is to have tournaments like Rocket League, that way it is a competitive environment like we want but you can't play on 2 accounts because you have to be active on that account at the same time so you can't play at every level like Ranked permits you to.

@Palette24caratsIt does solve some issues cuz I guarantee you not every Master or Pred has a Smurf account. And any account that has achieved Master or Pred in the last 3 seasons would be restricted to diamond minimum. So if a smurf account got Masters 3 seasons ago they could only play in Diamond lobbies minimum also.

Restricting making multiple accounts is also a good idea but I doubt Respawn does that. Streamers get views showing themselves grinding Rookie to Masters & would complain.

@hayhor How would it hurt retention if you goal is to see how far you can climb? If someone is competitive, they should want to play against people in their rank. The people who make Smurf accounts are not competitive.

Or maybe there should be more incentives to stay playing in Masters once you reach it.

But also they should restrict how many accounts a person can make. Honestly I don't see the point of smurfing constantly unless you like playing the game on easy mode. You're not challenging yourself.

@Lord_Scorpion34It hurts retention because people would have nothing to play for. People don't really want to play people at or above their level over and over. You see this when people claim they just want relaxing, casual games but then get mad when they die or celebrate when they get a massive game. If they just wanted casual fun, they wouldn't care about the result, they'd enjoy the journey. But that's not the case in any competitive style game. People want to have success, even if they fool themselves by fighting lesser players.

The biggest problem with gaming started with online gaming. Playing a game for fun died the moment people started playing other real people. It was one thing to lose to a cpu or a couch buddy but getting beat by some stranger somewhere else that might think less of you....no way! lol
