Mirage Ultimate Ability

I keep reading that when you activate mirage's ultimate ability you go invisible. If this is the case, why can people see me and kill me. If your not completely invisible, it kind of makes it useless...

Popping your tactical right before you use your ultimate is a great way to evade an enemy. We've seen some amazing plays where the ultimate comes in handy when Bangalore tosses some smoke to help Mirage advance closer to the enemy squad without being seen.
