Hey mate. I know what season 3 Pred badge looks like no need showing me it.
As per the DEVS post back in Season 5/6 they clearly stated players who want to earn permanent Season 3 dive trail can earn it in season 6. I have unlocked the trail in season 6 and it was the season 3 dive trail as per my attachments, nothing fishy about that. Have been trying to put this forward since season 7. Clearly shows that no one cares.

It was posted on the ranked page back in season 6. I wouldn’t have went through the hassle getting myself to Predator if that wasn’t the case.

  "As with last Ranked Series, players will be rewarded with badges, gun charms, and dive trails that match the highest tier earned that Series. One extra change to note is that moving forward, Dive trails will only be earned for the following season’s use, then they will expire. This will help ensure that when you see a dive trail, you know that player just hit that rank last season. The exception will be for anyone who earned a dive trail in Series 1 or 2, those players will keep those trails forever"

  In it it specifically says the trails expire-
  Reward competitive players for the time they invest in Apex Legends
  Dive Trails continue to be a highly sought-after cosmetic item that allow players at the top to visually distinguish themselves. This Season sees the first time that Trails from a previous Ranked Season will expire, but if you missed the chance to earn the Season 4 Trail, fear not, we plan to let players have a chance to earn it again in Season 8.
