Mobile respawn beacons should make your death box glow a different colour

Similar to how red evo shields (and vault keys) make your box glow red so people know straight away what you’ve got

this would make playing the game with random people who don’t use mic so much better. The amount of time’s I’ve died but had a mobile respawn beacon on me (I always make sure to ping before I pick one up so they know I’ve got one but people always forget) so they either just leave me  because there’s no more beacons left, or grab my banner and run miles to find one

This could be avoided if our death box’s were glowing a unique colour so our teammates would know instantly that we’ve got a mobile respawn beacon

  • @Bean2kay9 I don't think any more color is required. Maybe a partial greenish area on top and sides(not covering the whole box). Multicolored. Hey, they should also implement the same with red color. I kinda prefer to know what armor is in there. But then again attachments affect the color too. This is getting confusing lol

@BaldWraithSimp I'm sure someone posted a concept idea of the death boxes. It was something like coloured lines across the sides of the box indicating how much ammo was in there and the levels of the equipment.
  • Right here with you! I just finished a game where we had more than enough time to get me spawned-in and looted-up, but the randoms I was playing with had no clue that I had a beacon in my box. A glowing outline would be great on boxes with Mobile Respawn Beacons inside, even if it was only visible on squad-mate death-boxes, and death-boxes that have been looked inside by your squad already. It would make all the difference when playing with randoms.

Another option would be to make it so that upon retrieval of a squad-mate banner, if a mobile respawn beacon is in their box, it pings the box with a mobile respawn icon.

Since there isn't an easy way to pull up a playercard on Xbox Live while in a game with someone (Besides searching their name manually), I feel that some sort of implementation to let squad-mates know about the beacon in my box is crucial. Communication is key. I'd send a message but it simply takes too long; Playing on PC may be a different story, but on console it isn't a convenient option.
