If FPS games were “meant” to be played with a controller then why do we need “aim assist”? Obviously you feel controller players are “below average” to k/m players. Not looking for an “edge”, just looking for a more accurate input device for the game. Much like steering wheel controllers are better for driving games.
This should ONLY come if they were auto put into pc lobbies and had no aim assist.

These issues have been sorted out years ago, there is zero issues to be had.
If u plug in a m/kb you are blocked from controller servers, my son plays on ps4 but like to vs pc guys, so he plugs in m/kb, starts match, then plays with a controller anyways, lol.
Some people like the option for "hard mode", others just want to have fun and not fight the controls, others are curious what pc gaming on fps is like, these are all our brethren, fellow gamers, dont be a phillip, support our dudes fun factors!!!!

M/K don't have aim assist first off. Second off M/K is way harder than controller. Third some people don't have the money to afford a pc😉
@EPICDERP11a minimal gaming pc costs less than a ps4 pro.
M/K does have aim assist on console
M/K isn't harder when you're facing against Controller players.

The playstation its self has k/m support the butthurt console players that think k/m is cheating or unfair should probably just learn how to use something other than a controller.
soon enough the controller players are just gonna have to learn they're using the wrong perifial. it works sure, but it's far from ideal. then they get all salty when others use the correct perifial. then they complain about how much better emulators are... all while describing the exact reasons they should not be using a controller for a shooter. emulators aren't even close to the raw input, high speed, and high precision native support on pc has and they act like they're up against pc players. when in reality the emulators perform exactly the same as any controller only it does not hinder the user thru the use of correct perfirals for the situation. it's gonna be a painful transition for some but they can't hold others back from using what they want for much longer. some would even say all the post in the world would not stop mouse and keyboard on consoles. first party support or otherwise
I have no problem with mouse and keyboard on PS4, but it has to be implemented and separated. I want to know when I play with people who use M&KB.
If there's a big enough "scene" for Apex Legends with M&KB on PS4, I'll be glad to join, but I don't think mixing both types of playstyle is a good idea.
A mouse might be great for FPS like Bioshock, Wolfenstein, etc., but I think it's pretty bad for Third Person Action games...
People who use XIM should be banned and the Xim Tech should be sued because if break Playstation's TOS and User Agreement:
"You may not use, make, or distribute unauthorized software or hardware, including Non-Licensed Peripherals and cheat code software or devices that circumvent any security features or limitations included on any software or devices, in conjunction with PSN Services, or take or use any data from PSN Services to design, develop or update unauthorized software or hardware."
The whole reason k/m is not included is it would be to expensive

That’s not true, Xbox realized that keyboard and mouse players had an advantage compared to controller players because of the more precise aiming and all the other advantages. The people at Microsoft could understand why xbox players wanted to switch to mouse and keyboard. Because Xbox realized this they actually teamed up with Razor to create and mouse and keyboard setup that specifically works with Xbox and is meant for Xbox. And adding one more point, why would Microsoft not want you to play on mouse and keyboard if they are making more money. So to correct you, controllers are not MEANT for console the creators of the console also want you to play mouse and keyboard.
When you put a keyboard and mouse into a console it removes the aim assist all together.
