@WhoopFighter Yeah the movement exploits are tough, my friend will not play just because of that reason. I think exploits in general have ruined a lot of these modern games. I do think it's time for an engine upgrade/update if there not have been discussions of one. I was hearing many taking damage behind cover. Which after seeing the kill cam in LTM's it looks legit/ or a ping issue but overall feels outdated with all the tech coming about. Also seen many glitches occur during streamers games.
- @XNocturnalGamer I just saw something yesterday about Respawn saying the game does in fact need a new engine. The more features they add, which a lot of them are nice, adds bloat, and the game seems to be running worse and worse.
The hit reg behind cover is because of the low tick rate servers, and how they handle lag comp/networking. Some of it does have to do with the engine, because of limitations? At least that's what I heard, not sure if I fully believe that however.
I've been seeing all sorts of weird bugs lately.
- Not being able to climb things, or getting thrown back while attempting to climb it. Having to stand back, jump, then I'm able to climb an object. There seems to be A LOT of teleportation around the climbing mechanic as well. This is also due to geometry of objects, which is totally fixable. Not every object needs a thousand polygons FFS developers, stairs should be ramps in all shooters IMO. Getting off on a tangent...
- bugged Loba ult. Can't grab what I want, says I grab it, but then doesn't. Game stutters when grabbing items.
- Dead slides for no reason what so ever, all the damn time. Game feels really unresponsive some games, while other games it feels great. The consistency is all over the place.
