I'm struggling with the wingman, doesn't matter what I do I can't land a shot with it, and what really pisses me off, I can't even hit someone who is like 2 meters infront of me and aiming at his chest, sometimes it feels like the bullets are not registering
Any tips?
You obviously need a better aim, and specific drills to train your Wingman, cause ingame fighting is simply not enough. Firing range is boring and annoying and can`t do much, except to improve very slightly and get to used with the weapon itself, but nothing more.
You need Kovaak Aim Trainer, and a good routine to improve your aim.
Specifically for Wingman i would say different versions of Tile Frenzy, 1Wall5targets_pasu, Bounce 180, Popcorn, Target Acquisition Flick, Valorant small flicks is good too, PatTargetSwitch is not bad as well, McCoy 1v1, Stralroom Fast Strafes and so on.
But its actually a complex things. You also needs to work on the rest of your mechanical skills, like your precious, tracking and so on. Also your reading skill is very important for the Wingman. :D
As far as instant tips i would say, at very close range, when shooting do a slight crouch, its help for the accuracy i also flick a lot with it on close range, if he is moving a lot, i`m not aiming, but just flicking.
On close range i also mainly flick, you need to work on your small flicks to be solid with the Wingman. On mid to long range i usually aim, but depends in some situation i also flick with it on mid range as well.
Get a good all round Kovaak routine and start grinding, there is just no easy way.
It’s a great gun but yes requires landing the shots. My advice is, if you are, don’t necessarily go for headshots: they happen if they happen. Your second weapon should be a spray and pray, because if you don’t land a few openers, you’ll want to keep your opponent away so you can get that reload.
2m is a little close...you want more distance between you and your target too,
These days, extended mag is almost required past getting one for a fight in the first few minutes after drop.
