Nerf Aim Assist, Fix Tap Strafe.

@WreckingVi That doesnt bother me. What is really dumb are the jump pad versions were people chase each other switching directions constantly.

@hayhor thing is, you can add this rotations. For example Octane Stiming can do this while healing. Things are getting outta hands lol

@WreckingVi And they probably have it bound with macro to some key so they can execute instantly.

@WreckingVi Tap strafe is a 100% legal mechanic. With in game key binds. It is not as if they are exploiting a game mechanic. Same thing was said when people could do this around corners air strafing or wall jumping. Only the few could do it and those few practice quite hard to be able to do this. If this had been some exploited mechanic changing files and such i could understand. Binding your button to mouse scroll wheel though is perfectly legal and a legit pro mechanic.

@E9ine_AC Tap strafe itself is not problematic, it just changes your direction depending on how many times you can rapidly press W. Except you can't do the same number of forward taps with W, with scroll wheel you can do 15-20 in very short duration. I wouldn't call this an exploit but 'cheesing' for sure.

It's cool to learn tho, especially on jumppad. Feels like I activated some cheat code lol

@E9ine_AC In destiny 2, we call this Cheese as baldwraithishot said. It is legal but it doesn't mean it is not a glitch, that single UP SCROLL acts as in you just macro W so many times fast to change direction. So it is a cheese, same with Aim Assist, Control players got the skill for good aim but even they agree on some weapons like Rampage, R301, R99, Volt, and specially Prowler n Alternator it is strong.

@WreckingVi I mean if it was a glitch i feel seeing they have altered things like this being done in cfg files instead actual in game key binds control it. Which they could of disabled like ago. Its a simple key bind rejection of scroll wheel not applying to that specific hotkey. So for me its not a glitch its a usable mechanic.

@BaldWraithSimp any movement on a scroll wheel is exploitative, considering we are cross play. the odds you are going to face another player as sweaty as that, is about ... .5%. maybe higher, but that's in 'diamond'+ lobbies i bet, and those bot lobbies are really exciting i'm sure. zero gun fire, staring at boxes, then every squad drops instantly after 30 minutes, after someone gets bored and fires. 20 pathfinders on every high ground. sign me up pls !

they removed repeated jumping on scroll wheel for this reason, and people find something else. it's sad people practice this for hours to move 'better' than other players, who could be on a controller. right?
