  • @KoolKid730 I don't mind the weapon, but I always thought the Spitfire and the Flatline should've switched places with regard to recoil. Makes no sense that a Machine gun with a huge mag has less recoil than an Assault Rifle.

@Sand_spitter Tell me you've never fired real guns before without telling me you've never fired real guns before...
  • I would buff all LMGs, but I would drastically decrease movement speed with it. Getting Spitty hipfire into face really doesnt feel good. :D

@Sand_spitter In games, yes, but in real life, gun size and weight helps to mitigate the recoil, size of charge and bullet grains also matter.

In reality, the AK-47 (7.62 x 39) has MORE felt recoil than the M-60 LMG (7.62 x 51) due tothe M-60 weighing almost 6 kg more.

This is also why IRL a proper 12-guage with a stock and field barrel has less felt recoil than the abomination that is the Shockwave.

Now, if you were talking anyone carrying an LMG (except Rampart, that could be part of her passive) was much SLOWER, because they are 9 to 15 kg, on that we would be in 100% agreement.
  • @Kyldenar Yes exactly, maybe my wording wasn't correct. Point is LMG's are/should be harder to handle since it's a bigger gun that you are actually carrying. But again, I wouldn't expect realism from Apex.
